These clips do a great job holding your hair back when styling. They hold a good amount of hair and there is no sliding. They are made of a good solid material and I think will last me a while. I don't know if they'd be good in your hair for long amounts of time, but for the 10 or so minutes I need to curl my hair they work.

We have bought several of these. We love them in our house. They are easy to use one handed. The size is great for all types of hair. The grip is perfect and not sliding out of your hands or flipping out. They have wonderful hold ok hair. I would definitely keep buying these for me and my girls

Doesn’t have a rubbery grip like I expected, but definitely holds thick, coarse and heavy hair in place as I wanted. I would recommend and I will purchase again when needed.

love these hair clips. I use these every time I blow dry my hair. they have great hold, with an easy to use grip. they are lightweight and keep your hair in place without slipping! very durable and a great size. I have very curly hair and works great without pulling my hair out.

I have really slippery hair on top of it being quite thin and have tried every type of barrette. Nothing holds except some alligator clips, and even most of those will slip. These have a nice bend that conforms to the back of my head and are very light weight. I literally forget they are there! There are some color options which is also helpful. Making them appear a little more attractive than the rest. The adjustable part is perfect since without it they would slide out of my hair. And the point is that they don't. This clip stays in place all day holding my hair exactly as I looked when I left the house in the morning! The clip opens nice and wide making placement quick and easy. This means more to me than anyone not dealing with this issue could possible know. I would like a smaller size option to add to my collection. They really are a 5 star item. I gave them four because I wish they were prettier. It is probably not their fault since they are what they are, but I will remain forever jealous of the beautiful barrette options that I can never wear. I recommend these to anyone who is desparate to get their hair out of their face, off their neck or just held in an attractive way. Especially if they struggle to find a product which will accommodate their hair needs.

The package was open. Maybe someone else return. Expensive per clip. They are not the clip for thick hair. Disappointed in performance. My dollar store plastic clips work better.
