Money saver
This has worked out so well, did not want to get a whole new portable cleaner. Putting in was a bit tricky, did have to follow a YouTube video to do, would not try without watching one first. Been using for a while now with no issues, no leaks. Glad I gave this a shot.

Perfect replacement
I think we got an older version of this hose as it is a black hose instead of clear. The hose works great. Install wasn’t too hard but you have the take the machine almost all the way apart to replace the hose. If you are handy it will take maybe 30 minutes. A hint, install the power button after everything else is assembled and make sure the wider side is down. The old hose had shrunk over time and would not fit back on the machine. The new hose is a bit longer and fits perfectly around the hose holder without too much extra that it falls off. New hose is much more flexible and head swivels nicely.

Hose is fine, no instructions!
The hose is black not translucent. It could have been pink and yellow striped—who cares? It is about the same length as the OEM. The plastic feels thinner. It is much more flexible but it may lack durability. By that time though I assume the motor or a critical part will have failed anyhow. No instructions! You’ll need a stubby Phillips, a typical Phillips, and needle nose pliers. I used #2 Phillips head on an impact driver (very gently!) for easy to reach screws fwiw. It’s a simple repair if you watch a YouTube howto video first. There is a thin-like-paper round grey plastic cover in the center of the hose holder that must be removed (razor or xacto knife) to expose screws that also need to be removed. Do that and the rest is easy. Watching a video will tell you that and prevent you from taking apart stuff you can leave assembled.Did I mention that the supplier failed to include instructions? Inexplicable.

New material and more flexible
This is a great replacement. The original wore out. The original is a couple of inches too short so it gets cracked near the handle. My first replacement was identical and broke the same way. This new version is a different material and more flexible. It makes it easier to use and I hope will make it last longer. There is a Utube video to help show how to dismantle the unit.

Hard to install
Product is very difficult to install it says it is easy in the description when buying be prepared to remove a bunch of screws. Watch a You tube video before buying to make sure you are up for the job.

Perfect replacement hose. Easy to do.
If you have a screwdriver, then you’re set to replace that old torn thing on your otherwise perfectly functioning carpet cleaner. Why buy a new cleaner for more $$$, when this will fix your problem for a fraction of the cost? You can keep your stuff clean but time itself cracked the old hose, rendering the carpet cleaner useless, until this little baby arrived. It says remodeled in 2024 but I honestly don’t see a difference other than it’s black instead of yellowed clear and cracked. But black goes with anything, so no matter here. It is more flexible (newer or different plastic), so functionally has a longer reach.Seriously, a great replacement and beats buying a new cleaner. Easy and quick to replace, and fairly clean work - no water all over. Now my cleaner works perfectly.Don't worry about instructions- too many models to use this on. Just look up your cleaner model number on the ‘net and see the diagram. While you’re at it, may as well get a new brush with this because chances are if you’re reading this, your brush is dated and not cleaning it’s best.

Better Than the Original
The original hose got so stiff and hard to handle it finally broke at the tool end. The clear part darkened and the hose lost any stretch it may have had and so was difficult to 'park' into the holder. This one seems longer then the original by a few inches and is far more flexible.Be sure that your model number is listed for fit. Also, the Bissell website has step by step PDFs on installation. It is not hard to install if you can follow directions and have basic hand tool knowledge. The one caveat is that there is a stick-on cover in the middle of the 'reel' for the hose. This needs to be peeled off to get to the five screws which hold the reel on. After peeling it off, DO NOT place it sticky side down on ANYTHING! Be sure the kids and the cats are not in the area and lay it sticky side UP!Bissell has made a commitment to make their products repairable so that they do not unnecessarily end up in landfills. I applaud their efforts with this. With a puke'y cat living indoors with us, being without our Bissell SpotClean Pro is NOT an option!

Not bad but very weak suction hose
Fits the machine well but the suction hose is rather flimsy, don't step on it or it'll be toast
