Well, I honestly didn't think I'd be reviewing this any time soon or buying one considering the price, but then our stove caught our kitchen on fire along with my old beloved V10. Shoutout to my Dad's insurance for this V15. I'm what you would call a vacuum enthusiast, but my true love is with shop vacs. I make daily disasters in the shop. In the house on carpet and hard floor though, these cordless Dyson vacs (v10 or better) aren't a joke, they really work and they really replaced our old Dyson ball animal v2 completely. We have a 130lb infinite hair generator (yellow lab) and he generates as much hair as I do saw and metal dust. Not having to deal with a cord completely changed the way I vacuumed, from begrudgingly when my Dad told me to cause we're having company, to sort of enjoying it and doing it 4-5 times per week. I've shown the effectiveness of and actually sold 2 family members and 1 friend on cordless vacs. Unless you live in a small mansion with multiple pets I sincerely bet even an older or cheaper Dyson would suit your needs. Anyway how's the V15 compared to the V10? Yeah it's basically better in every way, unsurprisingly, but the surprise to me was the fact the green detect LED isn't some desperate gimmick, not entirely, it really shows just how clean (or not) your floors are. I'm not a clean freak, but the fluffy detect motorhead will reveal dirt dust and hair you didn't know was there. How much that actually matters is entirely dependent on your threshold for cleanliness but if nothing else it's a great visual reminder of what needs work and where you've been. The suction is fantastic and borderline ballistic on boost mode. I'm pretty confident I'll never encounter an actual need for boost mode but I'm so glad they added it. It doesn't feel any heavier than the v10 at the handle but it's been a minute since I've used the v10 as it got cooked. Battery life is impressive given the power. I could vacuum every single room of my dad's old 2700 sqft house with the v10 and an aftermarket 6.5ah battery in one charge. Given the higher suction and smaller 3.6ah battery of this v15 I hesitate to guess but I'd say it'd definitely be able to clean the vast majority's highest traffic/dirtiest areas on a charge for sure. The auto power adjustment was a little jarring at first and a feature I wasn't aware of, especially considering the 3 power settings you can still manually select, but it actually does it's thing and works great. I'm not sure if you can turn it off. The dust canister is easy and holds a similar if not larger amount of dust compared to the v10. The fluffy detect motorhead is actually eager to climb and hop some impressive elevation changes in your floor and floor dividers. On hard floors especially with the fluffy motorhead it's much more maneuverable and easier to push, but the carpet motorhead on carpet is definitely harder but not much more than the v10. It does a fantastic job on even medium to heavy pile carpet (Not those shag area rugs though) and makes lightning quick work of hard floors. For how much this costs you'd really hope it's good, and in my humble opinion it definitely is. Indoors this is the best vacuum I've ever used by 5 or 6 good country miles.

This vacuum works so well it will genuinely make you question your entire understanding of what “clean” means. I thought my floors were clean. They were not. They were apparently a museum of microscopic shame. The Dyson V15 Detect Plus is absurdly powerful, easy to maneuver, and the laser light is both amazing and emotionally devastating. One pass across the floor and suddenly you’re confronting dust you didn’t know existed and wondering whether cleanliness is even a real construct or just a lie we tell ourselves. The suction is fantastic, it picks up everything, and the attachments are actually useful instead of just living in a closet forever. Battery life has been solid for normal cleaning, it’s easy to empty, and it somehow makes vacuuming feel a little too satisfying. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a great vacuum and an emotionally humbling experience.

This vacuum will both change and ruin your life, because you will realize how dirty your home really is….😅 Best vacuum I have ever owned. For context: my wife has extremely thick, wavy hair and we have a medium size dog with medium length, wiry hair who sheds frequently. We live in a 2 bedroom home with hardwood and tile floors and some rugs. General Performance and Hair Pickup This was our main concern. We owned a Miele Cat and Dog C1 vacuum and my wife’s hair would tangle the brush to hell, making it a pain to clean. I cleaned our entire house without any tangles in the brush. The brush self detangles as it runs so it is perfect for houses with women/pets who shed. This thing is powerful. It will also adjust speed/suction based on the level of dust it detects. P.S. If you have issues with the rug/carpet brush to spin, adjust the speed to eco and lower the slide bar on the head. Battery Life This is where the vacuum lacks but for the power it outputs and being cordless, it’s understandable. On the auto setting, you’ll get about 45 minutes on the auto charge, 60 on eco, and about 30 on full power. A little annoying if your house is dirty and you’re in the groove of cleaning but have to stop to charge. Weight For a bigger guy like myself I find it to be the perfect weight but I can see it being heavy to use for smaller people with continuous use. Not heavier than a cord bag vacuum like a Miele but still on the heavier side for a stick vacuum. Storage Capacity For a stick vacuum, the storage capacity is pretty good. Depending on the size of your house/level of dirty, it can fill up somewhat quickly but it is easy to empty so it’s not an issue. Cleaning Super easy to clean the brushed and the collection bin. You empty it almost like a pump action, dirty dropping from the bottom. If you have some hair stuck around the filter, fully open and close it a few times and it will be pulled down by the inner rubber ring. The hardwood floor brush is like a microfiber material but easy to disassemble and clean. Watch a YouTube video to be sure but wash the brush with only cold water (the dirt will come off) and let it dry for 24 hours. DO NOT get internal brush head parts wet. Final Thoughts This vacuum is worth the money. We got it on sale for 20% off and we are extremely happy we did. Easy to use and clean, expertly cleans rugs and hardwood, and just a great all around machine. We own other Dyson products (hair care) but this purchase cemented us into being a Dyson household.

This vacuum is absolutely incredible and definitely worth the price! It sucks up pet hair like nobodies business, never clogs, and never gets tangled. We have one of those pet hair rakes that pulls up pet hair than gets stamped into the carpet over time. I ran this vacuum over my living room rug, and then went over it with our pet hair rake, and zero hair came up. It seriously gets everything! It’s also very lightweight and easy to maneuver. It works great on low pile and high pile carpets and I love the green light attachment that shows me all the dirt and dust on my floor. It’s seriously the best vacuum I’ve ever owned! I highly recommend it!

Lo más que limpie el recipiente de basura no resolví nada. Se me ocurrio entonces lavar el filtro y lo dejé secar 30 horas- Y milagro: la aspiradora sigue funcionando perfectamente. Les paso el tip porque estuve a punto de devolverla pero me alegro no haberlo hecho.Es la mejor compra que pude hacer!

I just got the Dyson V15, and wow, it’s seriously changed the game for me! Right out of the box, I was impressed—it’s super sleek and lightweight, making it a breeze to move around the house. The suction is next level! It picks up everything from dust to pet hair like it’s nothing. The laser feature is a total eye-opener; it shows you all the stuff you didn’t even know was lurking on the floor. It’s kind of satisfying to see how much it grabs! Battery life is awesome too. I can clean my whole place on one charge, and when it’s time to recharge, it doesn’t take long at all. Plus, emptying the dust bin is super easy—no mess, no hassle. Después de 3 meses de uso DIARIO puedo decir que es la mejor compra que he hecho. Mi hija sufre de rinitis alérgica, así que en casa es importante tomar medidas para esto. Sin duda el aspirar diario ha mejorado considerablemente los síntomas. Es increíble que una vez que la usas, ya no puedes sentir que la casa está limpia si no le pasas la aspiradora y te aseguras que ya no hay polvo. Yo hago limpieza mensual a los aditamentos como lo indica la app y no he tenido ningún problema. Compré una base también por Amazon y no ocupa nada de espacio. Es importante mencionar que la aspiradora pesa bastante y si tienes una casa grande, a menos que seas ambidiestro, se te va a cansar el brazo. Aparte de que no es tan cómodo mantener presionado el botón todo el tiempo. He visto que venden un seguro para mantenerlo presionado y facilita mucho más su uso. Es una buena inversión, he tenido otras aspiradoras y no hay comparación.

La compré en promoción de Buen Fin y si me llegó de acuerdo con la fecha de entrega. La aspiradora tiene buena potencia de succión para los pisos duros así como su duración de batería me alcanza para los pisos de mi casa. Tengo tres perros y ha ayudado en mantener un poco más limpia la casa. El accesorio que tiene para muebles también funciona muy bien. Hasta el momento los únicos inconvenientes son: La batería a pesar que alcanza bien para todo el piso, ya queda con muy poca carga para aspirar los muebles, así que tengo que esperar a que vuelva a cargar o en su caso comprar una batería extra. Y hubiera estado mejor, que viniera con un cepillo con cerdas un poco duras para aspirar superficies que requieren tallar para desprender el polvo o tierra que se acumula.
