I live in a house where internet is provided. To connect Plex on my FireTV Stick to my NAS to watch movies, the FireTV is connected wirelessly to the house-router, which is connected to my personal router via a "MediaBridge" over the 5G network, and from there it's wired to my NAS.That MediaBridge connection is iffy at best, and often fails, leading me to restart my router and the FireTV stick once or twice for them to regain the connection.With this adapter, the FireTV stick is wired in to my personal router and can directly talk to the NAS.No more network issues!

I have one chromecast in my home that is used all the time (my kids watching netflix) and I wanted it to stop sucking up all the wifi. There was an ethernet switch right next to it, so I decided to try hooking it to ethernet using this device. Google sells their own version of this, but it costs more and ships more slowly.Anyway, I connected this to the chromecast, ethernet, and a USB power supply and it worked perfectly immediately. No flaws and no hassle. I think I'm going to buy a couple more.== Edit ==I bought two more and attached them to a couple of google home minis. They work perfectly there as well--moving lots of things off the wifi onto the wired network at my house. Great solution if you want the best performance on some of these devices or don't want to use your wifi signal.

Works great for my 4K max but not for original 4K

This is a great little ethernet adaptor for Chromecast (I used mine with a Chromecast Audio). It's actually a USB ethernet adapter and powered USB OTG adapter bundled, but everything connects together easily and works well (you will need the USB power supply and micro USB cable that came with your Chromecast). The first adapter I received stopped working, but customer service was excellent and promptly sent a replacement adapter when I contacted them, and I haven't had any further issues! Overall, this adapter works well at a great price. I would recommend this product.

I needed to have my fire stick wired for internet. For some reason the WiFi kept freezing on the fire stick I had on my livingroom tv. This helped and I haven’t had a connection lost message since

Did not work for Firestick 3rd gen. Called their "helpful" support number but they never returned my phone call. Accordingly, I returned their product.

El adaptador me llegó super rápido a Panamá, pero no funciona como esperaba. Lo he utilizado con mi Amazon fire stick, mi Internet es de 350 mbps, conectada al wifi de la casa la velocidad me marca máximo 200, pensé que conectada directo al lam me marcaría mas, y no es así, lo mas que me marca es 90 mbps.

With this product I don't have to worry about the WiFi being grainy, choppy, or not being well received by the Firestick. (which was a bit too far in our home) It hooks directly up to the network cable. The picture is wonderful. Love the product. Easy to connect too.
