If I could give this product 10 stars I would! I have the worse cowlick at the crown of my head I struggle with daily. Saw this product and bought the smallOne to give it a try. Oh my gosh it works!!!’ Even the next morning ( which after sleeping it’s at its worse) and it was still covered I was shocked. Now I wished I bought the bigger bottle. Truly the best product for this reason I’ve ever used and I’m a hairdresser and I’ve tried many many products. Highly recommend.

Probably the best root lifter/volumizing spray I have ever used! No sticky residue, very subtle/light and pleasant fragrance (I'm very sensitive to strong scents). And I like that it's a pump, not hard spray nozzle. Works great for lifting my fine hair! Just the right hold.

I get sick of reading reviews from people who don’t really have that fine or thin of hair, so I took a pic of my ponytail without product, then my hair after blowing out and styling with this product! I have a 10 month old baby so my fine, thin hair is even worse with postpartum shedding. My aunt said it didn’t work on her hair, but she allows it to air dry. When I used this and then did a blow out, my hair lasted a full 7 days with just dry shampoo. The photo with my hair half up was on day 4-5 maybe?? It didn’t get limp or stringy or anything, and no bald spot in the back! (IYKYK). These before and after pics are proof of this miracle product!I use this product sprayed liberally to my roots, then rusk radical cream, then finish with osis dust it powder and Kristen was texture spray. It adds life and grip to my hair— without it, it’s too soft to do anything! Try it— it will change your blow out game!! For dry shampoo I just use the pret a powder days 2-4, then batiste for dark hair when it gets a little oilier at the end of the week.

I’ve tried using this product several times before leaving a review. I have very thin, fine hair. After I stray it on my roots with damp hair, I blow dry my hair upside down. It does add volume but slowly drops within a couple hours. I don’t think it’s worth the price and I probably won’t buy it again. I do however like the xtra large bombshell volunteer by color wow, I feel like the foam is more effective at keeping volume longer than this most root lifter/thickener.the first picture with it curled is without it, the straight hair is with the product.

After only a few hours, the product becomes very gritty feeling, and your hair will feel dry and porous to the touch. If you read the ingredients, the first one is denatured alcohol. The rest are other chemicals like polymers.The next morning after using it, my hair felt gummy at the roots where the product had been applied, and it looked dry and dull. My scalp also felt itchy. I didn’t want to risk any further damage or breakage, so I immediately tried to shampoo it out.When I got my hair wet in the shower, it felt weird to the touch, like it had something bonded to it. The first shampoo didn’t remove the buildup or icky coated feeling. I shampooed a second time, something I never do, and it started to feel slightly better, but I could still feel something wasn’t right with my hair. Usually after shampooing, it feels clean and smooth. I didn’t want to do a third shampoo, so I used my regular conditioner and hoped for the best .After blowdrying my hair, it still looked dull and had none of its regular shine or softness which is not at all how my hair usually looks and feels after washing it. The gritty, gummy, feeling at the roots was gone and so was the itching, but my hair still doesn’t feel like it did before I used this product.It definitely damaged my hair. I wish I had checked out the ingredients more thoroughly before buying it.I noted that most of the reviewers who posted a photo or video did so immediately after styling, following their first use of the product, which is when it looks and feels its best. After only a few hours of being in your hair, that’s when the damaging effects will start to appear.This product is getting super over-hyped on social media by influencers. please don’t make the same mistake I did and fall for it .If you need lift at the roots, just use a good quality hairspray and styling products. I reached out to ColorWow with my concerns, and they offered to exchange this product for a different one if I return it. However, after reviewing the list of similar sounding ingredients in their other formulations, I’m going to take the financial hit and the lesson to be more careful in the future. I spent $25 on some thing that is genuinely terrible and should be pulled from the market.

I was hesitant to try this product because I saw it on Facebook and I thought it was probably a scam but my hair was getting thin and very flat so I gave it a shot. I was not disappointed. I will re-order this as soon as I run out. It’s easy to use it dries quickly. It doesn’t make your hair look dull, and it gives it such a lift.

For those of us who are a bit older and whose hair is now parting in odd places, especially forming cowlicks in the BACK of the head, (where it looks horrible and sometimes(ew!) even flat and greasy) this spray works MIRACLES. After washing my hair and doing a partial blow dry, I spray this in at the ROOTS of the crown where the weird cowlicks appear.. then use my hairdryer BRUSH lifting from the crown.. It's the PERFECT and easy solution to a disturbing beauty dilemma...If you're on the fence.. BUY IT.
