Nerf Rival Mirage XXIV-800 Blaster, 10 Nerf Rival Accu-Rounds, 2 Ways to Load, 8 Round Removable Magazine, Pump Action Priming, Gifts for Teens

Nerf Rival series are known for their speed and accuracy and this blaster did not disappoint. Good entry point into the Nerf Rival series blasters at this price point. The mag capacity is 8 rounds but you can squeeze in 9 and if you chamber 1 more, you can use all the 10 rounds. But I would not advise to do this because it often caused jams, and would sometimes fire 2 rounds at once. Use 8 rounds and things work just fine. If this is your first Rival series blaster, you will need to get used to the priming slide as it does not slide back on it's own, you have to slide it back manually (this action also chamber the round). Other than that, the Rival rounds are really bouncy so they have a tendency to bounce around and end up in all the nooks and crannies after being shot. You'll have to look around to retrieve all the rounds, but that's just a minor nitpick. Faster and more powerful (age rating is 14+), not for small kids. Loads of fun for the rest of people.

For older kids - it’s hard to “pull” to start

The nerf rival mirage is the best rival currently ( bought for 1417 /- on 29th march 2023) It shoots well over its capacity and has not given me any major jams ( a couple happened but it was my fault ) . The magazine feeds the bullets( 8 is its capacity ) with ease and is smooth . Highly recommended for nerf aficionado’s. (the build quality is up to nerf standards and is beautiful. )

Bought it for 1150. It is a bang for the buck and a better option than buying the currently overpriced elite blasters. Shoots hard and fast and lives up to nerf's quality standards. However, the priming system is a bit difficult to use with sweaty hands.

Worthless 😞

First I ordered it jammed and didn't work I replaced it and a new one and I worked excellently and the speed is so fast value for money.

Bought this out a store good accuracy for a nerf gun after 5 months had problems with the pulling handle so I attached a cord to pull overall great so a thumbs up 👍

Absolute amazing blaster, one of the best in the rival series

Es un blaster compétente, tiene un desempeño medio con una velocidad de 89-94 fps, es compacto y su priming es algo fuerte, la característica de poder reabastecer el cargador por el agujero en la parte superior presenta muchos problemas de atascamiento, si únicamente se cambia los cargadores, no se tiene problema alguno. Es un blaster compétente con una buena velocidad de ronda y con un priming relativamente pesado

Some time got jammed

I LIKE the Nerf AccuRival Mirage. I like the aesthetics, ergonomics, dual loading system, performance, and ammo/magazine compatibility. FIVE VERY ENTHUSIASTIC STARS. I like the aesthetics: the ongoing accurival color scheme of blue base with black, yellow, and orange highlights is just very cool looking. I love the yellow piping that threads around various parts of the blaster. I like the thumbhole stock, and how it changes the overall profile of the gun. The general aesthetic is bright, busy, and just very cool. I like the ergonomics: I have some friends that like to use Rival guns but their small hands make it difficult to use some models like the Helios or Knockout. I think they’ll appreciate that (even though the Mirage has an in-grip mag well) the grip on this handle is actually smaller than most mag-fed rival guns. In fact, the whole blaster is small. In the attached photo you’ll probably note that the Mirage has a noticeably smaller profile than its bullpup-style predecessors in the Rival line (Apollo and Helios). I like the dual loading system: I WANT TO SEE MORE OF THIS on other Rival guns. It’s mag fed (so you can do mag swaps in tight situations) but it also has a breech-loading port (so you can reload on the go without removing the mag). This is a GREAT feature especially if you don’t have a lot to spend on nerf guns and can’t afford an extra mag. I like the performance: smooth priming action, the thumbhole stock keeps your sight picture stable while drawing the priming handle back. I don’t have a chronometer, but the Mirage really seems to have good velocity. I like the ammo compatibility: I ran ten different kinds of ammo through this blaster (from 5 different manufacturers) and the Mirage handled them beautifully. The only jams/misfeeds I had came from using Headshot Ammo (which I don’t recommend anyway). The ammo from NERF, Dartzone, TiopLior, XShot, and EKind all worked great. I like the magazine compatibility: this worked with literally EVERY other magazine I own. THIS IS VERY UNUSUAL. Even the generic mags worked! This is a huge selling point for me, because magazine incompatibility is extremely common and very inconvenient. SUMMARY: I like the Mirage. It’s great. Thank you Hasbro! 5 stars.
