I love this vacuum picks up dirt very well on tiles and carpet. I also have kittens and they make a mess with the litter and it does very well on picking it up as well. I recommend this if you’re looking for a cordless vacuum, this is the way to go only thing I can complain about the price, but it is well worth it. Definitely if you get it on the deal. I love the fact that it is cordless and the battery life lasts long enough for me to clean my whole house and it still has life left. It does not weigh much and the level of noise is bearable and the transition from carpet to tile is really great and easy to maneuver.

If my Dyson broke today....I would be buying another one. I actually purchased this for my sister who is older and pushing an upright was too much for her. This thing "sucks"! Just what I want a vacuum to do. It has 3 suction levels for different surfaces. I like that the side of the head gets into tight corners around cabinets in the kitchen. It has attachments to get into window sills to catch dust. The long handle pops off to use for the car as a hand vacuum. The battery lasts a long time and I have yet to run out of battery time. We have ours in the garage right outside of the laundry room, so easy to get to and recharge on the recharging stand. You do need an outlet close. I have used this on tile, carpet and LVP, and the car! I don't work for Dyson but am majorly surprised at how much I like this. No bags to buy and easy to empty the container. I will say, if you have to get into the rollers to clean, it looks like a hassle, but there are tutorials on how to do this. Love the performance of the vacuum, was concerned at the initial cost, but bought one for my Sister.

I am not one to hock products online, and, even with a 30% off Prime Day deal, it wasn’t cheap for a light-weight stick vacuum ($399), but, holy smokes, do I love my new cordless Dyson V11. I hate vacuuming, but I also hate visible dirt , crumbs, and dust on our rugs and floors. My family would tell you I’m a bit obsessive about it - and very annoying to them, I’m sure. To ease my stress, I invested in a self-emptying Roomba earlier this year (I wrote about that, too), with the intention of running it every other day or so. This was a reasonable solution and has been generally helpful. But I don’t remember to do it often enough, it is very slow, it scares the cat, and it doesn’t give a deep clean on our wool rugs. And when there’s a small mess, it doesn’t work to say, “Google, tell the Roomba to vacuum only the rug in the living room.” But I’ve mainly been relying on “Roberto” once a week or so, followed by a deep clean by our house cleaner once a month. She came just 2 days ago and vacuumed, swept, and mopped the whole house (using her sturdy Oreck vacuum on the rugs). God bless that woman. But I noticed a bit of a mess on one of the rugs today, so I whipped out the brand new Dyson, which was not fully charged, to try it out. I started with the front door mat, ‘cause I was there, and it immediately got that black mat perfectly clean - something it hasn’t been since its first day, because it’s ultra-grippy and resists the suction of all other vacuums. Then I vacuumed our heavy wool black-and-cream hallway rug that tends to get bits embedded in the weave. Perfect. Then I did the 20+ year old black botanical patterned wool living room rug, which came out looking better than it has in years, and didn’t require using additional tools (e.g. a Birkenstock) to scrape up the cat fur. Without making any adjustments, I then ran it over all the hard floors on the first floor, including the thick foam kitchen anti-fatigue mat, none of which had no real visible dirt or dust apart from the odd stray crumb or litter bead. It was super quick, and easy. Definitely heavier than my old corded stick vacuum, but not uncomfortable. And I found that cordless was a much bigger convenience than I’d anticipated. I realized that I used the prior stick vac so seldom in part because I hated wrangling with the cord, unwrapping, wrapping, plugging in here and there, etc. Yes, I’m lazy when it comes to vacuuming. In any case, doing most of the first floor of our house (about 7-800SF - I admit I didn’t do the nooks and crannies or move all the furniture) took me only a few minutes and the best (or worst?) part was that this small area, which was basically “clean” to start with, filled half of the canister with dust, fur and debris I hadn’t seen. Like a LOT. Yikes. I’ve now given away our two other (non-robotic) vacuums. The first was a massive Dyson upright that I bought used several years ago that was powerful but so heavy and hard to maneuver that we seldom used it. The other was a corded Shark stick vac that was lightweight and did well reaching under furniture and for all kinds of other uses (furniture, drapes, ceiling cobwebs, etc.), but was not as powerful as we needed for regular jobs. And lately, it had started dumping a little pile of dirt at the end of each use that needed to be swept up. My new Dyson is the perfect alternative. I’m a convert.

Pros: - This vacuum works very well. Quieter, powerful suction, cordless convenience, maneuverable head for all those nooks and crannies and under furniture. - We upgraded from a corded Bissell PowerForce Helix. I did a test and this is a picture of all the grossness we picked up with the Dyson V11 AFTER vacuuming with our corded Bissell. It wowed me how much better a quality cordless vacuum can be compared to a cheap corded vacuum. This is worth the money and I don’t plan on ever going back to a corded vacuum. - I would say this vacuum is a must have for anyone with little kids. You'll be vacuuming a lot more to keep the floors clean for them crawling around, have no time to clean and have outlet covers everywhere. This vacuum lets me zip around the house so much faster than a bulky corded vacuum. - The battery life is just long enough for me to vacuum and dust my 2200 sq ft home on medium power. Cons: - The Dyson arrived with factory damage and a sharp point that you can cut yourself on if you're not careful. I didn't realize the damage until after I used it for the first time so it seems wrong to return for a replacement. Feels bad that a big hundreds of dollars purchase that I saved for was imperfect. Would have been a 5/5 stars rating except for the damage.

I ordered this vacuum after buying three other vacuums (that added up to the price of this vacuum) that either didn’t work on my carpet, were way too heavy, or just flimsy. This vacuum is fantastic, works equally well on carpets and floors, and it has a clock that tells you how much time you have left on the battery before charging is required. It is also easy to operate and maneuver. I highly recommend it.

I bought the V11 for a vacation house that is currently under construction both inside and out. Read that as I have contractors walking down a dirt driveway (muddy in rain) into the house carrying all manner of power tools and product. The whole house is either hardwood floor or tile with a set of stairs. Estimate 1800 -> 2000 square feet and the contractors are in every square foot of this place. Plumbing, electric, carpentry, you name it... it's all ending up on the floor. The V11 is awesome, I have shown it absolutely no mercy, this thing has been taking an absolute beating picking up rocks and dirt from the driveway, all types of wire clippings, wood chips sheet rock dust, packing material, you name it... if it's on the floor, it's in the dirt catcher of the V11. I probably should be using a shop vac. The power head works extremely well on both the entry way rugs that take the first steps from the driveway into the house as well as the hardwood without having to change a power head. I either use the powerhead or the brush attachment on the stairs, depending on how bad they are. I easily get through the whole house on a full charge, and that includes spending time on those entry way matts, and there is still some juice left. My wife has an issue with the weight of it for a full house cleaning, it's a bit heavy for her for that length of time, but she loves the way it works when she is just doing a couple of rooms or areas at a clip and now wants one for our primary residence. The wall hanger it comes with is useful; the hanger is both a charging station and attachment caddy in one. Odd, they don't provide a space for the small power head that comes with the vacuum. As mentioned, the device has some weight and when you set it into the wall hanger, that weight transfers right to the screws holding it to the wall hanger to the wall, making the drywall anchors that come with the wall hanger insufficient. You need to hit a stud with the screws or use a Molly or Toggle anchor if you expect that wall hanger to stay on the wall. It could use a headlamp on the power head, that would really be a good feature to add. Overall, a must buy!!

This is a wonderful cordless vacuum! I already own the upright animal ball vacuum and have for numerous years. It does an excellent job but is very heavy to operate and doesn't get under furniture like this Dyson V11. I have wanted a cordless vac for years and finally pulled the trigger and ordered it. We have a cat and he sheds a lot and this picks the hair as well as the dirt aggressively! I rarely run out of battery time so no complaints there either. I know others who have purchased a cheaper brand, but I know how well the Dyson's are made and how long they last so I did not want a cheaper vacuum. I would not recommend using on small area/throw rugs as it may catch them in the beater bar, but I already knew that. I would highly recommend this vacuum! It makes my life easier!

Best vaccum. This is the 3rd Dyson I have owned and it is the usual great quality. Vaccum is light weight and easy to maneuver. Our home is 1600 sq ft and I can clean the entire place on a single charge with power left over. It has 3 suction speeds. The canister is a good size and is easy to empty. The attachments are easy to put on and take off. I know Dyson vacs are $$$ but they last for years without mechanical problems. I replaced the battery 1x on my last Dyson and it worked well for 8 years.

I am going on 79 and I have so many vacuums in my life like Kirby, Electrolux, Shark and too many to mention, but I have never had one that worked as well as this cleaner, easy to use, suction is unbelievable and the accessories just blew me away, I can only say good things about it and though it was pricey it was worth every penny, cant go wrong with this puppy LOL

I have used Miele vacuum cleaners my whole life and since I bought this Dyson I am never looking back. I didn't want to spend the money at first but I'm so glad I did. It charges easily and holds the charge well. It's so light and easy to use that I vacuum daily now. Lots of attachments for different uses.

Working great after 6 months. Great on cat hair. Have 2 ragdolls and its keeping up so far.

At first I didn't want to pay the price for a Dyson cordless, so I bought a corded vacuum that was highly rated. It was cumbersome to use and I was not happy with its performance. Then I bought a cordless vacuum that cost less than the Dyson. I regretted that purchase immediately because of its lack of power and poor performance. Then I bit the bullet and got myself a Dyson cordless V11.........and I'm never going back! Tons of power, easy to use and maneuver. The best vacuum I've every had!! I'm a huge fan and am happy I finally have a Dyson.
