Great item, great price and even better sale price! Working great! I rub on my belly and it helps me go #2. I think its also making my periods lighter, when used daily in between. promotes muscle contractions of involuntary muscles. So it can tone those muscles as well. Don't use on belly, back or internally if you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant. It can put you into labor or cause miscarriage. Im putting from belly to groin area next to help bladder too, and on lower back! Its better to start small with only use in belly button, and gradually increase as you learn how it affects you. In some people it might cause diarrhea. I also used castor oil on my face. It cleaned blackheads out, and softened anything left in pores so that it was removed much easier- even some stubborn pores that would not get cleaned out with pinching or any other method. It also cleaned pores inside and behind ears- just apply generously overnight, and wipe area in morning. Scrape lightly with fingernail or other tool and wipe again. I could feel small bumps in my ears, just little brownheads, but the next morning my ears were smooth! Also got rid of a few mystery bumps and some pimples that wouldn't pop or kept coming back. got rid of a skin tag on my eyelid, other skintags, helping get rid of moles- they are smaller now, and got rid of a small wart in 2 weeks. For kids especially, this is great for splinters! you apply it liberally on bandaid pad and put on overnight. Use tape, sock etc to hold it on better if it wants to come off. Don't get on sticky part or it won't stick. It will be gone the next morning, and you will unlikely find any trace. Has worked on glass and metal too! No more screaming kid, while you try to dig out a deep splinter! Works on adult splinters too, if you cant quite get at it.

This is my second time buying this product and I didn’t realize I hadn’t written a review yet but It’s safe to say that I love this product. I use it for two different things, my 4c hair and scarring. My first review will be on my hair. This is extremely moisturizing and helps my hair thicken and grow. My hair is stubborn and doesn’t like to grow but using this really helps it thicken and once used enough, it starts to lengthen as well. I definitely recommend this for hair usage. The way that I use this on my hair is no different from when I’m regularly greasing it, I do it once or twice a week after a shower while my hair is wet then wrap it up. The next day it’s as soft as it can be and stays that way for a few days. Secondly, scarring. I highly recommend this for any type of scarring but most importantly, new scars. I have used this on both new and old scars but I find that it’s more useful when dealing with new ones. Only a few weeks in and my new scars have lightened enough so that they look like old scars vs my old ones still look the same or they are a tad bit lighter. This definitely doesn’t remove them completely but it doesn’t help your skin heal up a little bit faster so that your not feeling self conscious about yourself. I just recently got bit up by a bunch of misquotes and spiders and which my skin is very sensitive to any type of bug bite, my arms and legs have scarred up quite a bit but with the help of this I know that they’ll lighten significantly in a short period of time. I’d also like to note that you DONT have to be consistent with the “treatment” I have a very crappy memory and often forget to use the castor oil on my scars at night but they have still shown signs of lightening up even with my forgetfulness. Btw, it works on stretch marks as well but it does take longer to see results — in my opinion — vs regular cut or bite scars.

I've been using Castor Oil for over 50 years. This product, made by NOW, is 100% Authentic, and is the crème de La creme! I used a small drop on my hair edges, and in a week I had hair. In 3 days I had fingernails growing. As for my eye lashes, I had hair growth in a matter of days. It doesn't have a smell. The size is perfect and you only need a small amount. It literally moisturizes and penetrates the skin. It literally evaporates beyond the skin. It's not sticky. I applied this product to my face, at night before bedtime, and the lines, in a matter of hours, had smoothed to nearly disappearing. This product is also very thick and is recommended to use with a carrier oil. It works well with carrier oils. It's also great for detoxing. Therefore rubbing it on the stomach and poured into the belly button, makes for a powerful detox. CAUTION: DO THIS IN THE MORNING. WHEN DOING THIS METHOD, JUST KNOW IT IS AN EXTREMELY POWERFUL DETOX. IT LITERALLY CLEANS OUT THE INTESTINES. SO ONLY DO THIS IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE AT HOME.

It's plain old castor oil. I like the container because it's easy to use. I like the small sized one because it's convenient and portable.

This is a great oil to add to your natural hair care routine if you want to grow your natural hair. I have used this castor oil for years, and my hair and scalp love it, and no, it's not too thick (just make sure if you have greasy hair, this may not be the best oil for your hair type), but it works great for my 4C natural hair. I love that it does have a little moisturizing effect, even tho it's not to much. It virtually has no scent, so if you don't like the herbal smell, you will be fine, but I love it, so I have no problem with it. I love that this oil is budget friendly because I use it a lot as it is a thick oil you don't need a lot, so a little goes a long way. You can have this oil for months and get the most use out of it. The last note is that I use this oil overnight if I see a pimple, and it dries out the following day. My skin is sensitive, and most acne products irritate it so this has been a lifesaver when I get a pimple. I have used this castor oil for years, and the quality has never changed, so every few months, I make sure to grab a few bottles to stock up. Worth the price and works both on my hair and skin.

Using this to try to thicken my over plucked 70's eyebrows. Only 2 weeks, so probably too soon to tell, but my left brow looks better, but my right one, the thinnest one, not so much. I think I really killed those roots. I've also been rubbing what's left on my eyelashes, and usually they are nearly clear, they are looking darker and healthier. Not sure if purely placibo effect, but I'm happy anyway. I rub some into my 11's between my brows and along the line from nose to mouth, and around my mouth and lips. All areas look softer. I have normal/dry skin, and this seems to be helping my moisturizer work better. And best of all, after 2 weeks of use, NO BREAKOUTS! I was concerned because it's such a thick oil, but my skin looks great! Only use this at night, unless you LIKE having your face look greasy in public. And only use a very small amount along the base of your lashes, and then on the lashes as a last step. I use only 4 drops to do all this, so this little bottle will last forever. Sometimes I add a drop or two of sweet almond oil, but I'm not sure it's necessary. I'm getting better results from this cheap little bottle of castor oil than all my expensive beauty products combined. Not sure how it would work on someone with oily skin, but it's supposed to help heal acne, too. Seems worth a try on one spot to see if it works. So, even though this isn't the most pleasant feeling oil to use, nor the best smelling (I don't notice it anymore, doesn't last long), I highly recommend it. If they added fragrance it would be very bad for your skin. Give it a try, I'm extremely happy I did. Now, if it would make my horrible undereye bags get smaller, I'd truly be in heaven!
