I like this chef knife
Package well and very sharp. Great feel to it and slices right through meat, tomatoes you name it. Hoping I can maintain sharpness of edge. Would have been nice for them to include care instructions for their own product but Google can help you out on that. Worth the investment, I hate dull knives.

So far, it's sharp and handles chopping tasks well, actually it has handled everything that I have tried with it well. Here are some pros and cons of this Damascus Chef Knife by KEEMAKE:Pros:Visually Stunning Damascus DesignSharp VG-10 Steel CoreErgonomic HandleMultipurpose 8-Inch BladeRelatively AffordableCons:Maintenance RequirementsLimited Brand RecognitionThe 67-layer Damascus steel creates a captivating, patterned blade that adds a touch of elegance to any kitchen. The G10 handle is known for its durability, water resistance, and comfortable grip, promoting fatigue-free use. The beautiful Damascus design, sharp VG-10 steel core, ergonomic handle, and versatile blade size are its highlights. Feels great in the hand, cuts perfectly
I've long known the adage that a sharp knife is a safe knife and I thought I was doing well enough until this knife arrived. Oh my goodness. The presentation is gorgeous, the handfeel is perfect, it's got a nice bit of weight to it and slices through cuts like there's nothing there. Hubs and I have both found that this is 100% our new favorite knife.

SHARP! Perfect size
This is an absolutely fabulous knife; both functional and beautiful. It is the perfect chef knife size, not too big. It is so easy to maneuver and can cut veggies etc so thin. Highly recommend!

Good knife but not quite as illustrated
This is indeed a very sharp knife. It feels good in my hand. I like the slight arc of the edge from tip to heel, which makes chopping especially efficient. My one niggling complaint is that folded-metal pattern on the blade is much fainter than depicted in the ad. I have a number of sharp knives, and got this one in no small part for its appearance. Unfortunately, at first glance the pattern looks mostly like dirt or a stain. If this makes no difference to you, you'll likely be quite pleased with the knife.

Great knife and great looking
I've always loved Damascus steel items, and when I saw this knife after having just complained about how dull our knives were getting, I jumped at the chance. Not only is this knife beautiful, but it is well balanced. I have been taking care of it, and using it regularly. It fits in the hand wonderfully and cuts beautifully. It sounds funny, but it makes me feel like a better chef. Anyway, I'm still using the packaging to keep it as safe and protected when stored for a long time. I want to keep this around and slicing/chopping/cutting/etc. for the rest of my days. Great knife and great buy!

Lost sharpness right away.
This is the most expensive knife I have ever purchased although, It is not at all expensive compared to good knives. Since it was Japanese, and they have quality products so I decided to buy it. . First thing I noticed was how very sharp it was. Cutting tomatoes was excellent. As with other knives I have purchased before, I immediately discovered small cuts over my fingers. I have no idea how I get them, The tip of the knife comes to a. point. I could have lived with this, but now it is as dull as the really cheap knifes and it such a short amount of time.
