Roku Express (New, 2023) HD Streaming Device with High-Speed HDMI Cable and Standard Remote (No TV Controls), Guided Setup and Fast Wi-Fi

Amazing little device, we acquired a widescreen TV that wasn't "smart" and wanted to be able to watch Netflix, YouTube, and other subscription services on it. Couldn't be happier! This was super easy to set up and get going with. You just need a HDMI socket in your TV, and then a power socket (or USB in the TV) to connect the power. Easy enough to set up by connecting the internet, adding apps, etc. App selection was really easy and simple and got signed into all my accounts quickly. Old TV turned into a smart TV within the space of ten minutes! It's also much more affordable than the Fire stick which is perfect. I wasn't sure it'd be compatible with such an old TV but it absolutely was.Picture quality is good and no issues with streaming whatsoever. Also love how small it is, as you can take it with you if you're ever travelling and want to hook it up elsewhere. Worth every penny!

Great product - easy to set up and turned my basic TV into a smart TV :) Also very reasonably priced. I've been able to add all the apps I need too. Would definitely recommend this!

Well I bought this just to see if I could upgrade my old TV to a smart TV. I wasn't expecting much at that price. When I saw the size of it I assumed I'd just bought a Wifi receiver/streaming extender that was needed in conjunction another set-top box. So when I powered it up to find a fully fledged operating system (stand-alone device with a ton of apps, streaming services and games) it was then I understood why these have rave reviews.OK - I guess it's not your Amazon fire stick or your Google Chromecast but at that price I don't really care. It still does 95% of what they do as far as streaming all major channels and apps.I'm new to streaming services (other than through my tablet) so was a bit unsure of Roku, as a brand I'd never really heard of. To be honest I'm not a big consumer of streaming services anyway, so just wanted something for the odd movie or catch up on missed episodes. I had a good play around on top of the advertised products I found it supports Spotify, BT Sport, Now TV and Google Photos too... and hundreds more I'd never even heard of.I downloaded the app on my phone and that makes entering details for setting it all up a breeze. It's nice and simple and allows a small amount of customisation (would still like to lock more down from the main home page so meddling kids can't mess) but adequate parental controls. Adding other services was very straight forward as I was already signed up to most major ones anyway.Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the voice control on the app. It picked up a sports channel dedicated to a certain football club, which I wasn't expecting to even find on there as an app - I was looking for something else but that popped up in the results as a bonus.My only criticism - and this probably applies to all these types of devices... is I'd like to be able to filter out anything from a certain provider (I'll never use Apple TV so would prefer it not to come up in results) or where it isn't available... what is the point in following something which isn't available to watch??In short - does exactly what I wanted. Small, low powered and done everything very well with no glitches.If I have one minor criticism it's that the time switching between service could be a tad faster... it's not slow, but it's certainly not instant either. But hey...for that price!!??

Purchased this for my neighbours turned there old tv into one with apps he said it's great to have a choice of channels value for money easy to setup plug n play

I bought this Roku device having already acquired two streaming devices from Roku in the past.We started with a streaming stick which is still in use many years later. We then moved on from the stick in the living room to the Roku stream bar, which is also a pretty solid product.The Roku express, in my opinion is the weakest of the three, though I'll hastily add that this may be my failure to read up about the product sufficiently. The streaming side of things works brilliantly, like the other devices. My only peeve, which stops me giving five stars, is that this doesn't also control the TV... No volume or power control, so you need a separate remote. It's obviously not a deal breaker by any means, but I wonder why those controls have been stripped out?That small issue aside, you can expect an the usual Roku features and simple set up. I'd still recommend, but if you can get one of the sticks instead, I'd probably go with that owing to the TV control.

Well packaged, easy to setup, easy to operate, I love the Roku Streaming Box.I have an old 1080dp tv but the picture seems 100% better with the box, very fast to switch between apps. Has all your main streaming apps, free to download.Compatible with any TV, looks to be very reliable.

Amazing product!!I got an old 2010 flat screen from my neighbours and made it a regular smart tv with this. It was really easy to install, it took minutes, even for me who stresses about all technology stuff. Does everything it says it does too. Highly recommend
