So good!
Wings of Stars was a fantastic first book to a new series. It grabbed me in its clutches within the first chapter and kept ahold of me.This new world of M Sinclair and RL Caulder’s is all about angels and mythical creatures. It’s full of drama from all points. From Kieran’s awful home life to keeping the stars alive and everything in between.Kieran is our FMC and despite everything she keeps her spirit and defiance.Keeping to their norm, there is a group of guys for our FMC but they definitely aren’t established yet, and not fully cemented yet into being a group rather than her choosing between them.Ronan is so sweet and gives off Daddy vibesGabe is also sweet and wants the best of everything for Kieran and will defend her against anyoneBastian is slightly unhinged but I loved him immediatelySteele is a jerk… just as you find redeeming qualities, he screws up again… but yet I still want him to redeem himself. There’s another one… but if I gave his name I would be spoiling a plot twist so you will just have to find out yourself… but you’ll love him as much as I do.This is a slow burn but the little bit of spice we do get is hot, especially with the dirty talk.

Another fantastic collaboration!
Another collaboration by the fab duo of RL Caulder and M Sinclair! This time we have angels, and fallen, and dragons (Sorry, Niz. I mean wyvern! Though there are dragons too…)Kieran is an angel that has suffered under the pressure of her father to find her affinity for 5 years. After her final placement testing, her father’s wrath turns to fury and violence. The punishment for not finding an affinity is brutal, and so she chooses to fall before that can happen.Gabe is a fallen angel who knew Kieran and had a similar upbringing. He offered her a place with the rebellion if she chose to fall. Ronan is a Beast Tamer, and his bonded companion a wyvern named Niz. He’s been crushing on her for some time and decides to fall with her. Just as they are going to the portal, Bastian, an escaped prisoner, stops them and ultimately goes through the portal as well. The newly fallen receive a less than friendly welcome from the rebellion commander Steele until his Councilwoman grandmother steps in.Kieran is drawn to all of the men, including the insufferable Steele. This is her journey to find her place, find her Affinity, and her destiny. This book held me enthralled throughout. These authors are masters at writing engaging characters, and creating worlds that are as unique as they are familiar. Well worth the read. Can’t wait until book 2!

Slow build up but solid foundations for this series
I was like a dog tugging the leash reading this book but man for a solid (cliffhanger) ending! If you don't like Kieran and her primary trio of guys, you are baffling. Toss in Niz and I am in love. The storyline is interesting, the characters (not you Steele) are endearing and make you want to learn more about them, and the antagonists are vile. All the makings of a series to track. It is a slow pace at times but mostly because of the complexity of the plotting. If Caulder and Sinclair follow their usual trend, this series will only get better.

Amazing
Absolutely amazing and neverending. The fear, drama, love and acceptance is awesome to see. The trauma is there too but I'm sure they goes away in the rest of the books. Ends in cliffhanger

Amazing!
Well….they’ve done it again. They’ve created a world that pulled me in, held me hostage, and pushed me over a cliff when they were done. I still don’t have words for how I’m feeling at the end of this book, besides I’m desperate for the next one. Not in a bad way, like the bottom fell out and you’re left in a limbo, but more of a “you just got told something juicy and you have to know more” kind of way. I loved the characters (Steele can go jump off a cliff sans wings at the moment) I loved the storyline, and now I’m really wanting a wyvern just like Niz because who wouldn’t? The world building was great, I’m hoping to see even more as the story progresses, and learn more about Alfemir’s history. We’ve gotten some tidbits, but I feel like there’s so much more. So I’ll be patiently (maybe not so patiently) waiting for the next one.

Niz !!!
First, let me say that I love both of these authors. I have been hooked by both ever since I discovered their writings, and I follow their social media groups closely. This book did not disappoint. Sure, there are several questions that I have, a couple of times I went huh (which I won't get into because I do not want to offer any spoilers) and I hated the cliff hanger lol, but I cannot lie and say I didn't love the book, because I did. The twist on angels was new and fresh, even though that is part of my questions. The beginning and ending were the better parts, the middle was needed but sorta bogged a little. Kieran was confusing but relatable. Niz is BY FAR the best character of the book, love NIZ. For me, Bastian is a close second, always loved the crazy ones. The other men were good, but Steele gets on my nerves and as of right now, IMO, he doesn't belong, but we will see how that goes. I have lots of questions, but this was an excellent start to a new series and I cannot wait for the next book. Highly recommend

Liked it
I liked the worlds and the characters. The prophesy is confusing in that I would think, since all worlds ore on a path to destruction, the angels would want their world to be saved. I am sure there is more evil that will be revealed as the series proceeds. I dislike a prolonged “poor little me” trope and the main character has moved past that, thankfully, and began to show a fierce attitude as the novel progressed. The last portion of the novel had some great action. It’s worth reading, just be patient with a slow start.

So good
The problem with great books that happen to be series starters is that you finish it and you are left wanting more and more and more…. But there’s nothing of the sort and the waiting period is a killer. This is the feeling I have after Wings of Stars: I need book 2. Stat!

What a rollercoaster
From start to finish, this book had me in an absolute chokehold. I really enjoyed the different dynamics between out FMC and her potential men! Rarely do I viscerally *hate* a character, but our girls dad? Throat punch material. I hate that guy. No redemption arc for him. Our cuddly creature (IYKYK) was super fun to read and seemed so intelligent and observant. The characters were super fun to read, and I'm excited to see how these relationships will develop! While this book wasn't overly spicy, the spice it did contain was well written and added to the overall story/plot. Now the ending. Why ?! How?! I didn't see that one coming. I pride myself in figuring things out before they happen...our author overlords got me good. Brava ladies, Brava. Please check the trigger warnings as there are some sensitive on page topics. 4.5 ⭐️

Ooh, loved that ending! 😍
Like, I said that ending was good! It totally makes up for an ásshole like Steele to be in the harem. God, he pissed me off so much in this book. I am so glad that Keiran stood up for herself and didn't excuse his rotten behaviour.Bastian is totally my favorite 😁 Love that pśycho. Ronan will be close second. Can't wait for the next book to come out.

Fantastic first of three ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Woah.RL Caulder and M Sinclair are at it again! Whenever these two authors work together, I know it’s going to be a wild, thrilling, steamy and all around amazing ride! This new series is no exception to that rule! This first book sets up a stunning world with lots to learn about from the get go with Kieran and her family and the boys. There is never a dull moment but always more to want to know! The dynamics are tense and fun, the plot is twisty and exciting and the characters are all around great - especially the cutest little magical pet ever, Niz. Always love a magical companion! The world-building is fantastic as per the usual with RL and M, and I can tell it’s only going to get bigger, better, hotter and heavier from here and I am SO here for it! I can already tell that this series is going to be a great one and can’t wait to read books 2 and 3, especially after that cliffhanger! 🥵🔥If you’re looking for an adult fantasy packed full of magic, laughs, possessive alpha males, redemption, and angst, with plenty of swoops and turns…then look no further.

Absolutely brilliant
This book gripped me from the first chapter. All the caritors were so interesting and very hard not to sympathise with them. You had to hate the bad ones and love the good ones, leaving me haing at the end. I can’t wait for the next book.
