I like that this serum features avocado and grape seed oil without feeling heavy or sticky. It leaves a nice initial shine and makes combing through damp hair easier. That said, the effects wear off pretty quickly in humid conditions. It’s a standard, middle-of-the-road serum that does an alright job, but nothing extraordinary.

This serum feels a lot less greasy on application. It leaves a nice sheen, but the magic really happens when you dry it in. It makes your hair feel soft and silky without feeling greasy. When I leave my hair to air dry, I usually use the serum first for protection and later with a curl cream. A little goes a long way.
