Roc-lon 100% Cotton 44/45" Wide Woven Ticking Fabric for Sewing Quilt Craft Home Décor, 245 GSM - Medium Weight, Stripe Navy - 5 Yard Precut

I originally purchased this fabric because I wanted make reusable, cloth Christmas gift wrappings. I knew they would look a bit "farmhouse" and primitive but I was fine with that. It works well with my vintage decor. I ended up loving it for wrapping material. I did not wash it and it is very stiff with starch but that worked great for wrapping. Some I made into flat wrappings and others into gift bags. The red color is perfect...a true medium cherry red...not scarlet....not wine. The white threads are really cream as you can see compared to the white crocheted throw. It is weighty and feels very durable. Even if I find I need to wash these wrappings from time to time, I know they will last for **years**. I even lined a wool cross-body bag I made with this fabric and the tight, heavy weave helped give the bag some body/structure. The stripe is truly woven in, not printed. I've now purchased MORE of this fabric...I don't even know what I'll make with it but it is so attractive, durable, and reasonably priced, I couldn't pass on the opportunity to have more in my stash. As I said, I haven't washed it so I can't speak to its color-fastness or shrinkage but, I suspect those won't be real issues.

Perfect striped ticking, just as expected. An ivory color super sturdy canvas with a nice muted red woven striping.

I LOVE this fabric, it is beautiful! I ordered 2 yards and it came in a continuous piece, which is what I needed. Already considering getting the navy version!

I read all the reviews before ordering the blue strip ticking. My concern was that this ticking would be thin. While reading all the reviews I saw some comments about not receiving the yardage ordered and delivery was very slow.. I received my order today October 8th which I ordered on October 6, 2025, I’m located in CA. Central Coast. I payed for the five yard cut and I received five yards! The color is exactly what is shown and yes it is heavy and stiff, perfect for totes! I am very pleased and plan to order this again I hope they have the pink and cream in the Spring, please!

I placed two orders of this fabric., one order was for two 5 yard lengths of fabric. The second order was for three 5 yard lengths of fabric. Each length of fabric was folded and packaged individually in plastic, with a label saying it was 5 yards. I carefully measured each piece of fabric. All of the lengths were short of the 5 yards. For the five packages, the lengths were short as follows: 8", 8", 11", 8", and 11". A total of 46" (1 yard 10 inches) short over the 25 total yards I ordered. The price with Amazon is the lowest I could find for this item, which I have used with warm window insulated fabric to make window curtain panels. They make a huge difference in controlling the indoor temperature of my home. I could not find the 12 yard bolts of this fabric in the navy color from any vendor. I don't know what the cause is of their cutting length shortages, but it is odd that the shortages were so consistent over 5 packages of the fabric. The fabric itself is good for what I use it for, but it has to be pre washed to get rid of the sizing. All measurements were, of course, done with the fabric right out of the bag, and double checked. Seems like these two fabric orders are mirroring the frustration people are having with shortages in advertised products at grocery stores. Frustrating.

I bought this fabric as a holiday cover for my half wall between the living and dining room - a sort of giant table cloth. It works perfectly for that. It adds subtle holiday color, and it looks wonderful on the half wall. The fabric is rather stiff. It's very thick duckcloth. I would not want to wear it at all, but it works very well as a table top cover. I have not washed it, so I don't know if it would soften up after being washed and dried. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of how stiff it is, but it is totally working for what I bought it for.

Fabric was think and quality material! I used to line the inside of a chest and it worked great for that.

This fabric is amazing! A classic ticking stripe in an insanely sturdy weight. I got two wingback chairs reupholstered and one bolt was enough for the chairs and cushions, plus removable arm caps and back rest covers. I highly recommend this fabric.
