Product worked great.. It was easy as long as you ...
Product worked great.. It was easy as long as you follow directions. I could see a little crack on the inside but only because I knew where it was. I waited almost 4 months to fix my windshield so the crack was more then the first layer. If you can repair your crack asap!!! I am sure if I had done the repair in the first week before it had spread it would have been spotless. I would recommend this to everyone!! Also the repair kit can be used multiple times unlike other repair kits. A+++++ product

Product did NOT work
I ordered the product, read the instructions and used it accordingly. The product did NOT work like it was promised. The product NEVER dried or solidified like it was supposed to. It deserves NO stars. So I returned it immediately do not waste your money or time.

Not a Bad Device
It was easy to use, but I've done this before. I actually have a repair kit that I used back in '92 - '93 after getting laid off from my job with AT&T. I found that I had forgotten a lot, but remembered a lot as well about windshield repair. But.... I opened up my kit and found I was out of the resin. I ordered this kit because it cost less than a bottle of resin. My repair was a combo, which was like a star plus bulls eye shape. I started my repair by using a tiny burr drill tip to open up the center of the chip. If you have not done this before, then skip this step. It is tricky and you can easily spread the damage if you screw it up. Be sure to crack a door window open to prevent damage caused by opening and closing you car door at this point. I then set the device up using some vaseline on the suction cups. This allows you to easily line up the center when looking through the applicator ( you can slide it around and not lose suction.) Then when lined up, tighten the applicator down enough so that the resin won't leak around the windshield and the seal. While working with the resin, keep a cloth between the sunlight and your applicator. This gives plenty of time for you to do some back and forth motion with the control screw and really get all of the legs of the star filled in with the resin. Once the resin is working, remove the cloth and let in the sun. I let mine set up for 10 minutes and then removed the device from the windshield. While removing the device, be sure to squirt some resin over the hole in the chip and place a small piece of the plastic sheet included with the kit, over the repair. ( I actually use scotch tape, sticky side up, for this.) Let the resin dry on the surface and remove it with the enclosed razor blade.... you're done.

time will tell
Time will tell if this was worth it or not, so far it seems to filled up some super fine and small chips on the windshield of my Honda fit, I still can see the fine patch but is not noticeable unless I would point it with my finger. As long as it prevents those chips to continue cracking I would be fine.so far so good, only time will tell.if you want to use this you do it under your own risk that works or not.

I think its a good product, but beware.
Dang I messed this up. Everything was going fine but there was a tiny bit that wasn't filling. So I used my heat gun as suggested but the thermal expansion caused the bullet to spider big time. I should have been more careful heating it Now I need a new windshield. But next time, I'll probably try this again.

Doesn't work for cracked cellphone glass.
Let me first say that this product may work great for a car windshield, but I used it for the cracks on my cell phone and it didn't work for that at all, infact it was a big smelly mess that took too long to dry. The ad did mention it works for cracks on a cellphone glass, I suggest they remove that!

Highly recommended
The original surface was only a small pit, a one-centimeter bull's-eye rift was underneath, and at first I thought it won’t be repaired because there is no seam. The result was very good, and the cracks were repaired. Yes. According to the instructions, in the construction of the underground garage, repeated for 3 times, bull's eye cracks were disappeared, and then drive to the outside for a few minutes, with the blade to scrape off the excess glue, and now there is only a small white point, very satisfied It is hoped that it will last long and it will not break.

It doesn't dry not even after 30 minutes
This is my third "do it yourself" kit I'm purchasing, but first that uses this new method. The first two have used the syringe method. Although I'm not a pro, I'm exceptionally picky while I'm definitely realistic about the expectations. I've had several "bulls eye" I've fixed with previous "syringe" type of kits. I would have expected for this kit to actually work better but it doesn't. First, it's extremely hard to figure out how much liquid you've placed inside the chamber because there's no way you see if is anything coming from the tube. Even so, if you had to do it multiple times, it's still good. At least you can try your hand. But here comes the worst part. My car has been siting for 30 minutes in direct sunlight at 120 F (yes, you read well) and the liquid hasn't dried yet, but start leaking from the very crack I was trying to fill. That's just not right... As far as I'm concerned, it's a "no go". No such resin wouldn't still leak in direct sunlight after 30 minutes.
