Smart design
Well designed water bottle for those of us who don't like plastic. Keeps beverages cold. Has a rubber inner staw for airflow and a better pour but works fine without it. Closes tight with no spillage.

Good quality, but details matter...
The brushed stainless water bottle arrived on-time (overnight) and is high quality and good design. Unfortunately someone at the factory in China thought the paper label needed to be extremely well attached. The paper peels off easily, but an adhesive strip attached to the bottle is very difficult to remove. It is so thin it does not peel, I had to scrape it off with my fingernails (to avoid scratching the finish), which took 30 minutes. Only then could I clean the remaining adhesive gum with nail polish remover. Someone at Camelbak is not watching details. Would otherwise rate 5 stars.

No more plastic drinking!
Perfect bottle for the avid cyclist. I was super concerned about drinking from a plastic container used over and over in the hot Arizona sun. Lately I have been using lemon juice with sugar and could totally taste the plastic due to the acidic nature aggravating the plastic leaking into my drink.Too bad the cap and straw (optional) are still plastic but it is such a great improvement. And for the glue holding the label, nail polish remover did the job under 30 seconds.

Different but better.
I like that my water doesn't taste like plastic even if I leave the water there for several hours. There still is a silicone straw but no aftertaste. Some residual water seems to always be left behind. It should be known that if you forget to lock it you will have water all over, which I often forget. Also sometimes it's a little more challenging to get into a bike water bottle holder due to the lack of flexibility. The goods far out way the bad for me.

Keeping it cold!
I looked at alot of insulated water bottles and landed on the Podium brand. I purchased smaller size for the fit in bottle cages. They look great, they function well, and keep my drinks cold. I would definitely recommend them. I gave 4 stars simply because of the packaging. The bottle is wrapped in a cardboard instructions deal that is glued to the bottle where the ends meet. I had to use a solvent to remove it. Other than that, they work great for the price.
