Machine didn’t work at all. We had it on for less than 5 mins and then heard a loud bang . And it doesn’t turn on anymore

Setup was super easy, no instructions really needed. The machine works pretty well, but it takes a little practice if you’ve never made cotton candy before—it can get messy fast. Cleaning isn’t too bad though; hot soapy water or leaving it to soak makes it simple. One thing I noticed is the metal part around the spinner not the spinner but a metal thing around it where it goes, seems to get a little burnt, leaving some black residue after use. It doesn’t affect the candy, just something to keep an eye on. Other than that, it’s great for some fun at home and works as advertised.

I wish I would have returned this during the return period. I kept going back and forth on keeping it because it’s smaller vs. getting a bigger (nicer) unit. It works ok, but it takes forever to make much cotton candy. I bought this for a pool party, and the last kid in line had waited almost an hour to get a “decent” amount of cotton candy. The parts you can take apart are fairly easy to clean. But the heating coil and everything around it can’t be cleaned (unless you take screws out). This area gets sugar in it, then it burns and smells smokey. So far, it’s not a safety issue, but it’s less than desirable. I bought the kit with 3 sugars in it. Without having anything to compare them to I figured they were normal. Didn’t taste like much, and the cherry was particularly difficult to work with. We went through the sugar quickly, so I ordered a pack of 5 flavors from the same company. The cherry I received in my first kit was a muted, almost salmon pink. The second kit had cherry also, but it was hot pink. It also worked much better than the first and tastes like something unlike the first. Definitely a fun experience if you have 1 kid or a lot of time. But it’s a “novelty” piece, not really functional for a party.
