First off, a PSA. Wear the (provided) glove. The blades are sharp, very sharp. This thing is just the trick for potatoes Au Gratin/Scalloped potatoes, thin sliced onions for burgers, banana chips for drying, or anything else of the sort. I must confess that I've never been particularly good with a chef knife, so slicing fruits and vegetables uniformly, and quickly, without dismembering my hand, is akin to a magical experience. Also, OCD sorts will appreciate the uniformity of slice thickness, I bet. It's a snap to clean it as well, due to the small number of parts, and relatively small overall size. Well worth the money.

I’m addicted to this thing. I love cutting up veggies now. It is sharp but the tool they give you to hold what your cutting works great. I’m not sure why so many people end up fingerless?!

Nice slicer with various blades. I didn't like it for grating cheese, but it worked good for slicing onions & cucumbers. Very sharp blades. Use caution. It's nice they include a glove to protect your hand.

I was a bit worried when I ordered this because it seemed like it was so inexpensive that something must be wrong with it. However, it is amazing! The blades are very sharp, so it's easy to slices things really quickly. The included saftey glove works very well. I've used it every time I've used the slicer, and all of my fingers are intact.

I never had a mandolin before. I don’t know how I lived with out one. It’s easy to put together and also to clean. I feel like a chef! Everything looks perfect. I’m very happy with this kitchen tool
