Wow. I am an accomplished home cook. I can, and do, often make my own pasta sauce. But there are those nights when you just can't face the kitchen, right? Yes, I'm a snob. Ragu, Prego, Rao's; so many jarred sauces are inadequate. I found this sauce by accident. It looked interesting. I bought some, and tried it. I paired it with the most excellent Cipriani pappardelle, which is pricey, but it's lovely, paper-thin, elegant pasta. The sauce has a deep, rich flavor. There's a hint of smoke, and a hint of heat, which works. It's not like arrabiata sauce in its heat. It's very balanced. There are TWO servings in this pouch, if you make too much pasta, you're going to stretch the sauce too thin, and that would be awful. This is a sauce to be savored on delicious pasta. I highly recommend it. I know I'll be buying more!

Surprisingly great tasting, thick sauce. Better than most jarred sauces and unlike most jars, this works well for one serving (though there's enough for two) so you don't have leftover sauce you have to refrigerate afterwards. Ready in a minute and a half (but you'll first have to pour it into a bowl and you have to use a scissor or kitchen shears to open it). Extremely convenient and tastes terrific!

Le sauce is always packaged well and I’ve never had one leak or break. The lack of sugar is perfect. The price is extremely good. Consistency is like a sauce you’ve simmered for hours.

Lured by the description, I have tried this product. Honestly, I have been disappointed. The first impression, after opening the pouch, was that it looks exactly as it what it is: a sauce, possibly freshly made, that has sat around for a long time, becoming stale. The flavor is somewhat disharmonious,lightly sweet and heavily leaning to tartness., otherwise bland. It tastes like a sort of mild Tabbouleh, which may have its uses, yet, not what I would recommend as a pasta sauce. There are plenty of jarred commercial sauces that are at least as acceptable, at far lower cost.

Bought them for international travel. Portable to carry in luggage. Deliciously tasted good. Family Loved it. Great value for your bucks.

Updated review: this latest order was spicy it burned my mouth!! I needed lots of water. Hesitant to buy again. Really liked the taste of this Provençal sauce. The flavor was a bit tarty and tangy but overall the herbs and spices make for a delicious taste. It didn’t taste as tangy when the pasta soaked up the sauce the next day. I was able to use one bag for 2 meals. There is a hot spice kick! I prefer this flavor better than the Marinara sauce. Bought several times. What I didn’t like was the packs were wrapped in such a STONG perfume or room freshener scent. The smell was so offensive made me sick! My other foods on the mailer also had that strong scent. Have no idea why.

I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful this Savory Provencal sauce is! It has the perfect balance of herbs and spices, with a rich taste that instantly elevates any meal. I’ve used it with pasta, grilled shrimp, and even as a dip, and it always tastes amazing. The texture is smooth, and it feels like a homemade sauce with a gourmet touch. Definitely a pantry staple for quick and delicious meals. Highly recommend!
