It takes 30 minutes to soak the first time you use it, and about two hours to freeze it for use. I stuck it in a jumbo plastic ziplock and pulled it out when it was ready. The intense cooling faded somewhat after 30 minutes, but there was a noticeable difference between wearing it and not wearing it. I was outside for many hours, and it started to dry and lose effect. I just poured a bottle of water on it and put it back on. It's also comfortable and not entirely unattractive. I just wore a light button-up shirt over it, and you couldn't tell I was even wearing it. I wholeheartedly recommend this vest.

This vest sat in a freezer for at least 24 hours prior to first use. It was in the low 80s or in the 70s that night here in the PNW and I wore it for around 20 minutes and it was pretty much not cool. I really wanted this to work as I have anhidrosis (inability to sweat). I am going to look at it closer and see if it is missing whatever is supposed to be the cooling action. It is incredibly dysfunctional if it isn't missing the internal components. I noticed they do not have this product listed on their store front, so I assume the company knows this product is ineffective Their advertisement stating pro athletes use this, no way, I'm not buying it.

This product certainly does not last. Tennessee late May and early June maybe 45 mins to an hour worth of cooling. And that is after the vest has been in the freezer for days and days. Not good for those of us who have medical heat intolerance. No issues with the seller quick delivery I notice it is a small business owner and I support them but the product no so much.

Stays very cold but it will wet your clothes. Very comfortable. Ice last long. Great fit I think I got a medium. Worth the money I paid for it. Easy to use.

I work outdoors in Nevada and am having a hard time with the heat so I purchased this in an attempt to help. It is much more high end looking than others I’ve seen. It works well for around 45 minutes to an hour, but after that it looses its cooling effect. If you’re aware of the short cool-life and willing to get some relief for less than an hour, it works great!

My husband pains cars for a living on top of living in NC, so between the heat in the shop and in this paint booth, he is exhausted within an hour. I had a friend tell me about this vest so I bought it. HE LOVES IT!! Says it has helped keep his temp down so much and now everyone in the shop wants one.

Based on description it claims it stays cool up to 8 hours which is very far from the truth. The vest stays cold in our North Carolina weather for only max of 2 hours and I am being generous. It really only stays cold up until 1.5 hours Max. Now I do really like the design of it but it doesn't even deliver even half of what it advertised in description as up to 8 hours. Just a meager 1.5 hours not even 4 hours which would be half of the advertised amount. Very disappointed in this purchase is cost 74.99 plus shipping cost. Please don't purchase this product they need to make quite a bit more improvement to this product.

Works great in theory. But mine arrived with more than several of the pockets with no cooling gel in them. And the worst part: it reeks of a petro-chemical smell, and even got onto my clothes; lasted for hours and even gave me a headache. Promptly returned.

In a dubai summer afternoon, lasts less than 30 minutes. Can't complain at this price though. Should work better in the winter shoulder periods
