Otrivine Decongestant Nasal Spray, Nose Spray for Congestion & Blocked Nose Relief, 10ml

I have constant problems with congestion, and it can get worse at night when I go to bed. There are times that I can no longer breathe through my nose when lying down, which affects my ability to drop off to sleep. I have a nasal spray from the doctors, but still get nights where I just can't breathe and having sleep apnoea and using a cpap machine, not being able to breathe through my nose is a real problem. I would have to sit up for several hours some nights waiting for my nose to clear - until I tried this product! Just one puff up each nostril and within a couple of minutes I can breathe easily again! Its not recommended to use every night but on those bad days I know I can reach for this and it solves it completely. I love it!

I've used this before several times and always found it first rate. When you get a cold and the nose/sinuses start to block up, this stuff is what you need before anything else. A squirt up each nostril starts to work in minutes. Then once you can breath easier, you can worry about any other medications you want to take, cough syrups and the like. If you can't even breath in enough to be able to use this, all you can do is blow the nose enough to get some air movement through and then get that essential squirt done. It will make a difference. You should only use this for up to 7 days, but that will usually be long enough to break the average cold. You may or may not feel some slight stinging after each use, but it's minor and does clear fast. My wife gets a touch of blood on a tissue but that could also be from vigorous blowing, definitely nothing to worry about and nothing painful. Very easy to use, very effective and effective fast too, excellent value for money when you're desperate for something to help clear a head cold.

Blocked nose had me feeling like a fish out of water. One spray and boom, instantly clear. Works crazy fast and lasts for hours. Only downside? Use it too much, and your nose gets lazy. But for those times you really need to breathe, this stuff is a lifesaver. Worth every penny!

Oh how i wish i read the full description. Menthol is one thing i can't stand. I hate mint flavor in general, but spray up my nose feels like fire burning crazy hot and then the runny nose starts again within minutes. so not effective for me. it gave more pain from the searing heat up my nose from each spray than it relieved. I did not see anything about menthol until it arrived, not in pictures, and i didn't read ALL the description. the last line states menthol. Oh well i am sure someone in the household may find it handy, but not for me. I will be purchasing the other otrivine product without menthol. The new style is much more easy to use, and it was on offer for £4 so pretty decent price.
