I’ve gone through several expandable hoses over the years, and this one has been my favorite so far. I am so incredibly impressed with this hose! Dragging a heavy, kinked-up traditional hose around the yard used to be a major chore, but the Silver Bullet completely solves that. It is unbelievably lightweight and easy to carry one-handed. The way it expands to full size when you turn on the water and then shrinks down to practically nothing is pure magic. It stores away so neatly without taking up any space. I also love the built-in shut-off valve; it saves me so many trips running back and forth to the spigot. I was skeptical about expandable hoses after a bad experience with a cheaper brand years ago, but this one completely changed my mind. It arrived compact and lightweight, and expanded fully the first time I turned the water on without any splitting or weak spots. The solid aluminum connectors feel sturdy and have held up well through regular use — no leaks at the spigot or at the nozzle connection, which was my biggest worry going in. Everything threads on easily and the on/off valve right at the faucet end is genuinely convenient. This is actually really cool. We hated having a hose that was massive and always in the way. You can easily maneuver it and it doesn’t take up a ton of space. Very lightweight. It is small but expands well. Everything works really and is easy to use. Water flow was so much better than our other standard hose.

Hi everyone! I wanted to share my experience with the Pocket Hose Silver Bullet 2.0. I really love how lightweight and easy this hose is to use. It expands up to 50 feet when I need it, but when I’m done, it contracts back down and takes up very little space. The best part is that it doesn’t feel like a heavy, bulky garden hose. It’s easy to move around, doesn’t tangle easily, and makes watering plants, washing the car, and outdoor cleaning much more convenient. The quality feels great, and the leak-proof design gives me confidence while using it. If you’re looking for a hose that is easy to store and simple to use, I definitely recommend the Pocket Hose Silver Bullet 2.0. I’m very happy with this purchase. Five stars from me

This review is based on using this hose to help maintain a 30 gallon nutrient reservoir which is inside my home. The tank is located about 45 feet from the utility sink where it's connected, so the 50 foot length is about right. On the positive side, it's a well made hose from very durable feeling material. The connectors seem solid and well made and are attached solidly to the hose. The shut off works well completely stopping the flow of water with no dripping. I did not use the attachable spray nozzle so can't say much about how that functions...but it appears well made too. On the negative side, while it does extend to 50 feet, it does so with great effort. I had to manually work the hose from one end to the other pulling it to make it expand to it's full length. That was with the faucet completely open too and one that puts out a good flow with a lot of pressure. This hose replaced one I purchased previously, that developed a leak, and it expanded and retracted easily - nothing like this monster. Unless there is full pressure on the hose, it wants to retract back down to the unexpanded length....and it does that very aggressively. I mean this hose is strong and does NOT seem to like being in the expanded position. When you open the nozzle, even a little, the hose starts fighting to shrink down...and like I said this is one strong hose. A small child might even have difficulty holding it. It even makes it difficult to use the hose with it fighting you the entire time. Now I admit, it does seem to be getting a little easier to expand the hose after a few uses, although it does still require me to manually expand it to get the full length I need. Too be fair, my tank is 45 feet way give or take, so the hose is at it's maximum length, but my previous 50 foot hose was much easier to work with under the same conditions. However, it was no longer available so I settled for the "devil hose." Needless to say it is very easy to put away since it wants to be put away more than it wants to be used. If you are buying this hose to use in a situation that would require it be open fully, be ready for a fight. Hopefully me and this hose will learn to get along. So far it's like an annoying teenage....a well dressed one !!

The hose itself is fine. It feels sturdy when in use and isn't flimsy feeling when it's empty. My issue is with the female end of the connection—the end that screws onto your faucet. The threading must not be tight enough. I changed the washer and that helped a some, but I ended up putting teflon tape around the faucet end to snug up the connection, and that finally stopped the leak. Which is a dumb thing to have to do and I don't expect your average customer would do this. I just didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning the item.

The main reason I tried it was to avoid dealing with a heavy rubber hose, and in that respect, it delivers. When the water is turned on, the hose expands quickly to its full length. When shut off, it contracts back down, which makes storage significantly easier than a traditional hose. In practical use, this makes a difference if you’re frequently pulling the hose out and putting it away. The included nozzle has multiple spray settings and a shutoff valve, which is useful when moving between tasks like watering plants and rinsing tools without walking back to the spigot. Water control felt consistent during use, and the aluminum connectors didn’t show any leaking at the spigot or nozzle connection points. In use, the hose is noticeably lighter and easier to maneuver around the yard, especially when dragging it across grass or around tight spaces. However, it does require more care than a standard hose. I avoided pulling it across rough concrete or leaving it under tension, as the material feels more suited to light and moderate use rather than heavy-duty yard work.

This is a good hose but it was a little too short so had to get a 50 foot one.

The moment we connected the hose the hose started to spurt water in the wrong places. It leaked badly and was useless. Don’t waste your money on the overpriced piece of useless garbage. I’m sooo disappointed.

So I excited when this arrived and couldn’t wait to try it out. I had a new tap installed to help water down one side of my house. This hose worked well (once I got used to not having the array of settings on my hose spray) BUT leaked badly at the connection site to the tap. I tried my other hoses, and they were fine. No leaking. The problem is this hose. I would not expect a brand new expensive hose to be leaking so badly on attachment. They send a spare washer which I’ll have a go at replacing. Not impressed at all that I ALREADY need to look to replacing the SOLE spare washer. Am I regretting my purchase? Possibly
