It not unusual that Villeroy & Boch products are "costly". "If" the price is what you're willing to pay. Although, for you whom already known this brand, perhaps the cost is irrelevant. The perspective of worthiness is based on your socioeconomic preferences. Cups and saucers are perfectly baked without any bubbles and were Made in Germany with backed inks on the backside. Both spoons were made "beautiful" for my personal taste and both were Made in Indonesia, not Germany. I'm a perfectionist and inspected every inch in details with blue and yellow UV lights. I paid for them so you don't have to guess the quality and made origins which did not show in product pictures. I hope you, the future buyers enjoy the products as much as I would.

This espresso set offers everything. It's unique and modern looking, and quite functional. It's such a pleasing set to serve espresso and a sweet treat. Besides being a visually appealing piece, it is quite functional. It's the perfect size for a nice cup of espresso and the mug feels really good in your hand. I use the cup alone for a quick cup of espresso but to truly appreciate the entire set, I love using the mug and spoon for my afternoon espresso and chocolate treat. The spoon, while unique looking, rests perfectly on the mug and is great to use when I want to serve a sugar cube with my espresso. The saucer is the perfect vehicle to hold a sweet treat. Don't hesitate to purchase this! If espresso isn't you preference, this company offers the same set in a coffee cup and a latte mug.

The Villeroy & Boch New Wave Espresso set is chic made from high-quality porcelain; even the packaging used was impressive-no damage at all when opening the contents. The set goes perfect with my Nespresso machine. I have received many compliments from my house guest. Though product is a little pricey which it is expected from a high-end German made product there is no comparison from the lesser expensive items I found-that is why I opted for this set . I liked it so much that I purchased another one and will surely purchase again to build my set-up. It is also durable and unique-the two little stainless steel spoons are artsy and fit perfect with the cups.

Charming, delicate and good quality.

These are nice, but the other espresso cups we've had are a bit bigger. Even when we use single serving turkish coffee pots which make only 3.2 oz worth of coffee, we still can't use all of it in one cup. I would've been happier if they could have an ounce more capacity.

It is a very nice set to impress your company. Very elegant. It’s a little pricy but is is a good quality and is very pretty.
