Ryobi GDM330 Garage Retractable Cord Reel Accessory

I think some of the Ryobi GDO accessories are not good matches for my needs, but I knew I had to have this retractable power cord. Instead of running long orange extension cords from partially blocked wall outlets, this is centrally located in my garage and can easily reach my driveway. Since it's overhead, it doesn't add to the clutter on my workbench.

Husband was so happy with this item. Works great and easy to retract.

I was excited about the GDO opener, this attachment in particular. It's pretty much useless.It has a 10amp breaker built into the garage door opener. Not that I have ever needed to, but to give you some perspective. You cannot even run a hairdryer with this cord. No heat guns, no shop vac, no power tools, no lap tops etc.What you can run is a small radio, charge your cell phone. A small fan or alarm clock.That is if it's only one of those things plugged in, plug in two and POP! There goes the breaker.Ce on Ryobi , this is in a garage. There are going to be multiple big things plugged in. It has three outlets on it for God sakes. SMH. You're gonna have to do better Ryobi.

Nice addition to our garage.

Was a little disappointed that the breaker in the garage door opener pops pretty easy. I only had one small electric heater plugged in and popped within a minute.
