I have a 40 gallon breeder tank for my axolotyl. It was cycled appropriately and met all levels perfectly, was crystal clear. Woke up one day and it was so cloudy we couldn’t even see our axi! No matter what I did, and all the levels were good so I was stumped. Decided to go with this model and am so happy I did! Super easy to set up. I put it in around 10 at night, woke up around 7 to find it almost perfectly clear! I’m not going to use this full time as I have another filter and don’t want to kill all the beneficial bacteria, but this was amazing at removing the cloudiness. I do like how it brings in air from outside the tank as well, reduces the need for additional bubblers. So far very happy with our purchase! (I wish I had taken a pic of before.. but you literally could not see through to the back of the tank!)

Cleared my cloudy water within 24 hours! Its also very quiet. Great price! Filter works great and it was very easy to install.

Installation was straightforward, and the unit itself is compact enough to fit nicely in my tank without taking up too much space. Update 12/11/2024: The pump did its job great at first. However I noticed the flow had stopped from the pump. The motor has completely stopped working after only 4 months of use. No blockages or anything. We have always maintained and cleaned the unit per the instructions. I was really impressed while it was working as our tank was very pristine. But for the motor to stop working after only 4 months is a huge concern. I would advise to look elsewhere as this seems to be a dud. Update 12/14/2024. Customer service was prompt in returning my inquiry for support. I was notified a replacement unit will be sent out shortly. Will update accordingly. May 2025. We did receive a replacement unit. 4 months later it has already failed. The light has stopped working in only a few months. The second unit we had purchase the pump has failed. Two units and both failed in less than a few months. Huge disappointment. Absolutely do not recommend. Extreme poor quality.

I really like this filter. My tank was horrible and I didn't know where to begin. I had a filter that hung over the back of the tank and kids opened the top of the aquarium and would knock water out of it or push it off kilter and it would leak down the back. I also have my tank by the window which unfortunately makes the algae happy. It is 70 gallons so I'm not moving it. I HAD NO IDEA there was a filter that could work this well! I feel a little foolish that I didn't discover this filter a long time ago. This filter cleared most of my tank overnight. and got the algae too. It had a light that kills it. I haven't had any problems with the power of the water coming out. I have Goldfish, cory cats and a beta and they like the bubbles and playing in the stream. I am having some trouble keeping it on the side of the tank and level. the goldfish seem to like hitting it. I don't know why. I think after I vacuum the tank and scrub the sides it will solve it. I would buy it again and I think I would buy a bigger size. It is worth the money and I was shocked how well it works.

This unit works amazing. My tank is crystal clear... I included the tank after I cleaned it took out 70% of the water to change it. But still had a green tint. Added this filter over night, cleared it up.. anyone struggling with hard water or just a gross fish tank definitely recommend..

bought back in august of 2025 but recently had to throw away the UV light piece because the cord began wearing out and i didn’t know if it was still safe to use with wires exposed. besides that it’s a great product and still somewhat keeps my turtle’s tank clean even without the UV. definitely doesn’t work as well as it did with the UV but it still filters his uneaten food and with 2x / weekly maintenance my tank still looks great (was doing 1x a week for comparison) water is just a bit cloudy now but overall a good product for the price when all parts are actually in use and it doesn’t take me long to clean it either.

The filter is amazing when it works. I’m struggling with mine right now. Something isn’t working and it makes an awful sound. I’ve cleaned it twice and it still isn’t working right. It is also pretty big for a 10 gallon tall tank. I’m hoping to get it working right again but we will see. I haven’t even had it a whole month

love it 2 days and 33 gallon hex tank almost totaly clean cant believe how fast its a 10 watt bulb think thats the reason the water is crystal clear now at 3 days

The pump I got runs for 20 seconds then it stops…. Any one with advice? The pump is primed, the pipes are the correct length no kinks.

Is not good is starting work for 30 sec then stop for another 10 min

This filter is for the aquarium market in the US only due to the electric safety issues ie the voltage needed is lower than the uk Plug it in and blow the fuse and some smoke on unit You should have a warning ⚠️ to say USA 🇺🇸 Only

Probably not suitable for the UAE… it stopped working after just a few minutes.

Worked for about 3 seconds then stopped. Rubbish cheap product. Do not buy
