10 inch Roti Maker

I was really impressed with the Roti Maker when I first got it. It heated evenly and was easy to use. For the time it worked, it performed exactly as expected and made the process much quicker and more convenient. Unfortunately, after some use, the unit stopped working. The company's customer service has been excellent. They responded promptly to my concerns, and said they would send a replacement.

Unreliable. Low quality equipment. Pieces started breaking off after one or two use. This equipment has not worked as advertised expect for first couple of times. Heat is not properly regulated nor the rotis properly made. It always ends up being fried. I have followed all the instructions provided but the device is portly made and not at all worth using. It’s just a loss of money and time.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m very happy with this product! The quality is great, and it works exactly as expected. It arrived in good condition and has been a great addition for my needs. I’m really satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to others.

It’s definitely a trial and error kinda product. If the dough isn’t prepared a certain way the roti comes out broken, and if even if the dough is perfect somehow the texture of wheat roti feels like it’s made of maida, very chewy. It’s good for once in a while cooking not for daily roti eater.

I really love this roti maker when it is working properly. It is very useful, convenient, and makes making rotis so much easier. I use it regularly and find it to be a very handy product. Unfortunately, I have experienced an issue with the heating element no longer working more than once. The first time was after about 11 months of use, and more recently I experienced the same issue with my new one after less than six months. I take good care of the appliance and follow the recommended usage and cleaning instructions, so I am not sure what is causing the issue. That said, I have been very pleased with StarBlue's customer service. When I contacted them about the issue, they were responsive and offered to send me a replacement as a goodwill gesture, which I really appreciate. I am hoping the replacement will last much longer because I genuinely like and rely on this product.

This does not work for flour tortillas. They don't brown at all amd it makes them crispy. Like a chip. Had to go back to cast iron press and skillet.

This is the only Roti Maker that actually makes Roti/Chapati. We have tried other Tortilla makers, but this one is the best of all. It has the max temperature setting that is required for Indian chapatis/rotis to oil. This Roti Maker produces enough heat so that the Rotis are cooked with perfection. It has a non-stick surface, which makes cleaning after use very easy. You just need to dust off with a dry soft cloth and it is down. The most important point to make soft chapatis/rotis is the dough should soft enough and better if freshly made. You have to ensure that the Roti Maker is at full max heat. If you take the flour out of the fridge then let it sit out for about 15-20 mins and then put some dry flour on the dough before putting in Roti Maker. Once the green light goes on at max, put the rolled up dough and press a down firmly (not very hard) a couple of times and you will hear a searing sound. This means the dough is completely pressed flat. Turn a couple of times and then put the top down. The Roti will come out cripsy and full. If it is freshly made dough then the Roti will come out perfect. Overall, a great roti maker and saves lot of time rolling out the rotis/chapatis and no mess of the flour in the kitchen.

1. Description and pictures on the product are deceiving. Rotis don't come out as depicted on product description. 2. Rotis don't cook evenly. 3. Red & green indicating lights don't function properly and green light comes and goes out erratically. 4. Instruction manual not written properly.

Don’t buy! It’s worse

This was purchased a little over 30 days ago. It worked fine for sometime. And now the roti maker is not heating enough. The video is 3 minutes long and the roti maker was barely heating up and the rotis were not getting done. It is a hassle to reach the manufacturer and Amazon cannot provide any help since it is older than 30 days. Shouldn’t it be Amazon’s responsibility to provide direct contact with the manufacturers or get a response from them if they are offering a product on their website. Very disappointed and it was not a cheap buy as well
