A great upgrade over the original
I've had the older version of this heater in my daughter's bedroom for a while. Her room is far from our HVAC system and has 3 exterior walls and so is always the coldest in our house, this allows her to sleep comfortably and we can keep the rest of the house cooler. I really like this design for kids areas as it's silent, wall mounted (stays out of the way, doesn't get moved, knocked over, buried under stuffed animals, etc.) and the exterior never gets hot enough to cause burns. This new "smart" model adds some neat/nice to have features and a few really great ones. A digital thermostat means you can open the box, set it for your desired temperature and basically be done where the simpler mechanical thermostat took a bit of trial and error to find the right settings. Being able to "lock" the controls is a nice feature for a young child's room as well. The most important for me however was the addition of your standard "smart thermostat" modes such as timer and schedule. The ability to program a schedule for the heater to follow on the app is the most valuable for me. Previously we would forget to turn the heater on before bed or forget to turn it off on the morning, now it automatically heats the room to 70 every night at 8:30 and then drops to a set point of 60 every morning at 8am, (since the room never gets that cold it is as good as off) we've barely touched the thing since setting it up, it just silently does its job automatically. There is a basic older style schedule you can program without using the app or being connected at all, but the app is so much easier and versatile for scheduling I would use that. The app also gives you access to some of the nice features like full control over the color and brightness of the RGB nightlight which can illuminate the ground beneath the heater and the "geofence" mode which changes the thermostat based on whether you are near home or not.The install is very easy with the packaging doubling as a wall template to show where to put the mounting holes and the included drywall anchors being exactly what I'd want to use. However, I didn't actually even have to do the install as this heater uses the same mounting as my older model, so I just took the old one off the wall, put this on, and was ready to run in <1 minute. Downloading the app, creating an account, and pairing the heater so that I could control it and program a schedule from my phone might have taken 5-10 minutes more, getting this thing connected was far easier than most IOT hardware I've used in the past, no fishing with turning Wi-Fi on, then off, then on again, just clicked the "add" button, typed in my wi-fi info, and named my heater. i spent more time with my daughter picking out the perfect shade of purple for the nightlight than I did setting everything up.

Working Great
I installed 2 units in my sunroom and so far they are working great at keeping the room a consistent temperature. We have not yet gotten into the freezing cold of winter yet but so far I am pleased. I had a little trouble with installation because I screwed the clips on too tight to the wall and it didn’t allow for the unit to engage the safety switch. I did contact Heather at customer service and she was wonderful. She even called me back with additional information on programming my digital display. I did experience the initial burning smell, however that went away with in a day. The unit is quiet and I can feel the heat with my hand over the top of the unit but the wall doesn’t seem hot. I do like the ability to I put the cord into the units and keep them off the floor. I like the child lockout because the kids played with my old heating units, so this was a factor in my decision to buy this. Overall I am happy so far but we will see how winter goes.

Stopped working after 5 days
The heater worked well for 5 days and then just stopped working. Display is on but no longer heating. Waiting to hear back from tech support.

Good product, after receiving a replacement
***Update***I did receive a replacement product - the replacement heater, luckily, works as expected so far. This is a good product and it is quite useful to help increase the heat in a room that is stubborn to keep warm, compared to other places in the home. Some reviewers bashed this product for the wrong reasons - This is not meant to be a dedicated heating source. I view this product as a supplement to help keep a room warmer. My daughter likes her room at 73 while my wife and I want our bedroom at 67. This product is great to increase the heat in her room a few degrees at night, especially in the winter, without cranking the heat in the master bedroom. For this purpose it is a good product. The app was a little clunky at first to figure out - especially with scheduling the temperature and when to turn off/turn on, but once we figured it out everything has been working great. I'm hopeful we'll get many years of use with this product. I do like that it is wall mounted, which I think is safer for use with young kids.Overall its a good product. I'm removing 1 star - to keep it at 4 stars - because I received a damaged product, which appeared to be used. This may or may not be the manufacturers fault, but I'm just sharing my experience. It was annoying to have to do a return and then deal with all of this. But once i got a working product, everything was good.***Original Review Below***When I opened the box the first thing I noticed was the hardware bag was already opened and the back metal plate/back of the product had dents in it. The back of the product - near the mounting bracket areas, also had shifting metal parts. Regardless, I tried installing it to see if it would work. Of course it didn't. Not I have to go through the process of replacing and trying again.I will update my review upon receiving a new, and working, product. But this is unacceptable. My assumption is that someone returned this product already and it was re-packaged. I don't normally do negative reviews like this, but this is ridiculous.
