Great mid range speakers
The media could not be loaded. These speakers sound great. Installation was pretty easy as long as you know your way around cars and car audio systems. I had to fabricate a custom bracket to get them to mount in my 2001 Montero Limited. The mounting holes in the door were a bit wider than the width of the predrilled holes on the speakers. That was pretty much the only hiccup I encountered. I used the stock wiring and head unit, which surprisingly was able to drive these speakers pretty well. They supply nice, powerful mid range but do lack deeper bass, which is normal for mid range speakers. It's probably best to add a subwoofer if you really need the bass to come through stronger. The build quality of these is phenomenal. They are heavier than they look and have nice solid metal mounts and speaker grills, which I didn't end up using but was glad to have in case I did. Great job, whoever designed these and a killer deal for the price.

Decent
These don't get as loud as I hoped they would. I have 4 of these in my car and they work well enough for me. There's not really any bass in these. The seemed pretty easy to install.

Seriously loud speaker.
This is pro level audio right here. It doesn't get much nicer than this speaker.It's huge, so you might have to plan to use this in a custom enclosure or speaker box. Don't plan on replacing your door speakers in your car with it unless you have 8" speakers already.They seem a little pricey for one speaker, but the sound coming out of it is worth every penny. You won't find a less expensive speaker of this quality.The sound is crisp and full and doesn't distort, at least not at a level I've been able to listen to. It gets too loud for me to try and turn it up to the distortion point.Now that I've given it a good test in my sub box I'm going to try replacing an old guitar amp speaker with this 8". I'm sure it's going to sound excellent.Highly recommend for all of those audiophiles out there trying to achieve sound perfection. This bad boy will get you there.
