These are a great change from Tide pods, which were far too strongly scented for me. Seventh Generation Free & Clear cleans just as well but without the aggressive smell. I love that they’re gentle, fragrance-free, and still leave my laundry feeling fresh and clean.

I’ve been using the Seventh Generation Free & Clear Laundry Detergent Packs (90 loads) for several months now, and they’ve become a staple in my household. With family members who have sensitive skin, finding a detergent that cleans effectively without causing irritation has always been a challenge. These detergent packs have exceeded my expectations. These packs are hypoallergenic and free from fragrances and dyes, making them ideal for sensitive skin. Despite being gentle, they tackle everyday stains efficiently. Our clothes come out clean and fresh without any residue. Knowing that this product is plant-based and environmentally friendly gives me peace of mind. It’s reassuring to use a product that’s safe for both our family and the planet Water Temperature: While the packs dissolve well in warm and hot water, I’ve found that in colder washes, they may not fully dissolve, occasionally leaving a slight residue. To mitigate this, I ensure to place the pack in the drum before adding clothes and sometimes opt for a slightly warmer setting

These detergent packs work really well. They dissolve fully, even in cooler water, and leave clothes smelling clean without any strong fragrance. I like that the formula feels gentle but still handles everyday laundry without a problem. The grab and go packs make it simple to toss one in and start a load. It is a solid option if you want something effective with a straightforward ingredient list.

We switch over to seventh generation and a healthier option for our family. We appreciate the use of essential oils rather than fragrances. Our clothes come out the same feeling as when we used tide, so nice and soft, they’re just not fully of excessive smell like a tide pod. No one in our family (including our 6 month old) has had issues with skin irritation. The bag is a good size for storing near the washing machine.

I absolutely love seventh generation products, and this was my first time trying the pods. We usually opt for the liquid detergent, but the lavender scent wasn't available on amazon at the time. In terms of convenience these work great, but it bothers me that the pods do not dissolve completely. I saw another review that stated "rocks" of detergent were left behind in the washer and I also had the same experience. Regardless of if you're using hot or cold water (I thought this was the problem initially) there is still little balls of residual detergent left behind. Due to the fact that they dissolve so poorly this is the first and last time I will be purchasing the pods.

I think they’re a bit pricey, but I love how they clean. I have changed over to chemical free in all of my laundry items. I think it’s much healthier. It cleans just as well as a brand that has chemical chemicals. I am happy I made the switch.

I’ve bought this detergent multiple times and keep coming back to it. The ingredients are clean, it works really well, and there’s no strong smell at all, which I love. I use it for the whole family, including toddler clothes, and it’s been very gentle on skin while still cleaning well. Simple, effective, and trustworthy.
