Great product. Set to 5 mins once per day and it worked really well. I Put plants onto porch ( which is in shade until 1pm) and there was enough power to operate the pump correctly. Not sure if it needs to be in sun longer if operated more frequently. Key thing is to keep the control unit above the water level. The pipe is easy to cut and was it easy to put onto the control unit and watering spikes after immersion of end in hot water.

Definitely would buy again. Works as advertised. We use it to water a pot of plants on our lake dock and draw water straight from the lake. More than enough power to keep the plants happy. Did put a small weight onto the intake line to ensure it stayed submerged.

I bought three of these and set up two without issue, one of the smaller ones and one of the larger ones. I did not have time until today (about 5 weeks after ordering) to setup the third, another large one. Initial power on and there is no water, and it’s beeping that it’s clogged, how this happens out of the box I am not sure. I do not have any syringes small enough (only have kind without needles for giving medicines and it’s too large to fit into inlet) so will have to wait to troubleshoot further until I can get some. It would be nice if this is a common occurrence if they came with this tool. Will update if flushing fixes it or if it’s DoA and too late to return. Update: It still errored after following the directions to flush with syringe. What did work was using a cup of tepid to warm water and making a shorter intake line without a filter to flush it thru. After that it’s been working flawlessly. Adding a star back to my review.

This is amazing for any urban gardens when you don’t have a spigot or power supply outside. I was having to hook a hose to the sink every day to water and trying to not let the cat out as I watered. Being physically disabled it was a pain and some days I do not have the energy to do it, so my vegetables suffered at times like my tomatoes getting bloom end rot from inconsistent watering on hot days. I still go check on my plants often, but now I feel better if I have a bad day that they will still be taken care of. I bought two of these and a large outdoor storage bin at my local Ace that I drilled two small holes into the top for the tubes. I only have to fill it once a week. I got the watering system for vacation, but we are currently having a heat wave of 90 plus for a week straight, so my plants are loving being watered twice a day. I wish I had found this product years ago, but I am just happy I have it now! Update: One of them stopped working after 3 months. I contacted the seller about a warranty and I was pleasantly surprised by their wonderful customer service. They offered to replace the broken one even though they had no obligation to do so. I would definitely buy again.

It's a great product, however the water timer options don't allow for enough run time to water the plants as much as they need. I find myself turning the pump on manually a few times day.

Works great and pretty easy to assemble. It does not include a water tank, consider getting a large container or permanent water source if you don't want to refill every day. Mine came in with a dead battery but it started working a couple of hours after letting the solar panels charge it.

I am so happy that I found this product for our little garden! Compare to other solar powered irrigation systems, this one works efficiently and effectively! With clear and simple instruction, we installed them easily with flexible tubes and wires. Now I don’t need to worry about the drought when we out of town, it can operate very well with its smart programming system. it’s a worthy investment for our garden, and it saved me and our plants !

I loved this product when I first bought it. I was excited to ensure that my flowers were being watered, even if I was traveling or had to go out of town. Unfortunately, it didn’t last a whole season. It just stopped working. Foolishly, I bought a second one hoping that the first one was just a fluke. It wasn’t the second one didn’t last in entire season either. Terribly disappointed in these, especially after you do all the work of mapping it out, cutting the correct lengths of tubes, hooking it all up and setting up the buckets with water to just stops working. Such a waste of time and money. Of course, when it started to show that it was going bad and I was having problems with them. It was outside of the return.
