I was looking for a longer length curtain rod bracket to go over a bump out in our basement needed something that was strong enough to hold without weighing it down. These were easy to the quality is great. They are sturdy and easily hold the weight of the curtains. We did end up painting these black and I am really happy with how they look.

I was a bit rambunctious when it came to ordering drapes ~ three styles to be exact. My window measures 116" so floor to ceiling dramatic was what I was looking for and that I achieved. Building outward from window is a set is blackouts, then a rod of sheers and then in front of the sheers are solid panels on each end followed by semi-sheers -- YES, DRAMATIC I KNOW. Anyway, I needed brackets that extended at least 10" from the wall to hang the third row of solid & semi sheer panels. Couldn't find decent extension brackets that fit my aesthetic until I came across these. They not only helped me achieve my look, but they also are easy on the eye. They're a very nice brushed nickel, sturdy, quality brackets that hold the load of the rod and the four panels panels. Even though they are not adjustable, they function wonderfully. They also can be mounted from the ceiling or from the wall, both options would look great. I went with extending them from the wall due to my curtains needing 94" in length floor to ceiling. I have slanted ceilings. I needed these extended curtain brackets to keep the curtains same width. Worked very nicely. And they are very sturdy.

8 months after outdoor install and they are already rusting. 2 stars instead of zero because they’re still functional. Definitely not stainless steel.
