I was searching for a durable 4.5qt enameled cast iron Dutch Oven that was less costly than a comparable Le Creuset or Staub that sells for $300-$400. I saw this 5 star review, no negatives, but I hesitated buying because the price was so low and there weren't many reviews - then I saw it was listed on Amazon for only 9 months at that time which explains the low number of reviews. Other brands had complaints of bubbled or blistered enamel and other negative qualities. When it arrived, I was so impressed with the sturdy packaging in a double box with extra cushioned packing, all inside a giant blue bag tied with a ribbon and a thank you note! All this packed securely inside the outer shipping box. The pot is extremely well made, beautiful blue color, no imperfections. I tested the trial run on my gas stovetop with a pork ragu - stovetop sautéing/browning veggies and meat (almost 3lbs total), adding liquids and then in the oven for 2-3 hours. Everything cooked perfectly - excellent heat distribution. This $48 Dutch Oven was just as great as my old expensive Le Creuset! The cleanup was so easy and the pot looked good as new. If you are looking for a top quality enameled cast iron Dutch Oven, do not hesitate buying this and save yourself a few hundred dollars!

Very nice cast iron dutch oven. Good quality. Finish is pretty, I have a red and a blue one. Interior enamel is a creamy, off white color. Easy to clean. Use them for baking sourdough bread exclusively, does a great job. And the price is excellent. Have shopped other cast iron dutch ovens (enameled) at prices 4-6 times higher. Definately worth price. Skip the Le Creuset!

I bought this cast iron enamel pot and lid to bake my sourdough bread. It works great! My bread comes out beautifully crispy and tan. It holds the heat well and evenly throughout the pot and lid. I’m so happy that I bought this! Plus it is so pretty!

To be fair I did buy this Dutch oven specifically to make bread. It works great and have now after just a couple weeks used it a dozen times for more than just bread. I would highly recommend this Dutch oven
