I am a white girl and love this stuff! I have skin cancer on my upper lip so I have been looking for a glossy lip SPF that is non-chemical. Dr is wanting to avoid surgery & reconstruction of my lip so we’re protecting it & watching. If my lips aren’t protected enough, the cancer will get bright red & scaly. I wore this stuff all day at the beach & my lips did not react after a long sunny day. I’ve found some other brands finally making SPF lip glosses too but they’re $30-50! Price here is a huge win. This also has other beneficial ingredients. I will say the taste is a little funky bc of the zinc, no getting around that tho. This is mineral SPF protection & not damaging chemical SPF which I don’t want on my skin & especially around my mouth. I’ll get over zinc taste.

The gloss feels nice and has a smoothing effect. There is an spf taste but that’s just how it goes. I’m an SPF lover and live by the beach, so I can confirm it works to prevent sunburn! My only minor complaint is as it eventually wears off it leaves white marks at the corner of my lips. Not a white cast, just a minor pilly drydown after an hour or two of wear. Overall, I like the product and I think the slight drydown issue may just be unavoidable with any SPF lip product.

Finally a clear and highly glossy spf lippie without the weird taste! Sticky at first, but actually stays put for hours. Gentle on my sensitized lips (autoimmune rashes triggered by sun). Has a hint of the expected spf smell, but very tolerable. Free of petroleum/coconut/sunflower (my allergies). Good value, highly recommended.
