The colors are vibrant, the brightness is impressive, and the app makes it easy to customize different colors, effects, and schedules. The rope is flexible enough to create your own design, and once it’s installed, it gives the room a really modern, high-end look. Setup took a little time because I wanted to make sure I got the design just right, but connecting it to the app was straightforward. I also like that it works with Alexa and Google Assistant, making it easy to control with voice commands. My only recommendation is to plan your layout before sticking it to the wall since repositioning can be a little tricky. Other than that, it’s a fantastic product that completely transformed the look of my space. I’d definitely buy another one for a different room!

These neon rope lights are truly awesome and a must-buy for anyone looking for custom ambient lighting. I got the 32.8ft set for my 14-year-old’s birthday, and they were a massive success! Incredible Customization: The Govee app is fantastic. It allows for innumerable color changes and effects, far beyond standard LED strips. The vibrant RGBIC lighting gives a smooth, high-end neon look. Easy Setup and Flexibility: My son was able to set them up immediately with ease. A really cool feature is the soft, flexible material that lets you change the shape to whatever design you want on the wall—it's so much cooler than rigid strips. I absolutely loved that rope light. I've had my eye on a similar white Ikea rope light that is no longer being made and then i found this. This is a smart light, with many colors, a very intuitive app with so many color design options, it's absolutely mind-blowing especially at this price. I bought this to put in a large glass jar to replace the rope lights I already use. The light can be very bright if you choose to or you can dim it. I bought a bunch of other Govee lights with this so I returned this rope because I thought the others worked better for what I needed it for but if I'd found use for it I would have totally kept it. If you have a game room, or a kid's room, this would be a fun addition to their wall. I already have wall mounted Nanoleaf so I had no use for those. The material was thick and flexible, could be mounted and maybe it had an adhesive back, I don't know because I never unrolled it and returned it in its original condition. Great product.

Govee products are undefeated and have ruined other brands for me. Happily. I waited a while to write my review for this product, I had seen a few of their products have reviews about people complaining about them getting very very hot or even some of the melting or catching on fire. So I wanted to make sure I'd use these products long enough to make a valid review. I want to start by saying I've had these products now for over a month and I've used them for hours at a time I not only have the strip lights, I also have the neon rope, and the floor lamp. I've used them over and over again while also being mindful and I have not had a single issue. The app they have is phenomenal, it's super seamless and even connects to my Google so I can use Google to turn these lights on or off. Since I've purchased my first item with this company I have bought three other items. And I'm having a hard time not spending more money on more of their items. The adjustability, the versatility, and the appearance of all of these lights and everything that this company offers is 10 out of 10. I'm actually very happy but also upset that they ruined every other brand for me because I can't justify anything else. Thank you Govee for an amazing product worth spending my money on.

About as good as you can get. Installation: ton of sticky/screw down slotted rails. If you're like me and want to freehand your design (don't), you'll want a roll of 3M VHB tape for enivitiable re-work. Brightness/color: excellent. The ARGBs are extremely fast and responsive. Colors are great, and the defusor is very good, so you don't see each individual led. They blend together very nicely. Build quality: exceptional. Very well protected from damage, and you can make some very sharp turns, given the diameter of the rope. Control: they have a tool that, uses your phone camera to map however you shape the lights. It takes 2-3 attempts, but it *nailed* mine perfectly on the third attempt. And this shape is kinda tricky, with sections of rope touching at few different points. Very impressive. Length: sketch your design on the wall first. No - stop. I know you're an engineer, and can totally free hand a circle with inscribed triangle and it'll magically measure exactly 32 ft 👀. I'm sure we won't have to do this three times. Totally 👍🙃

The Govee RGBIC Neon Lights are really solid if you want something that looks good and is easy to control. What I like most is the functionality and ease of use. They are simple to set up, work well with the Govee app, and connecting them with Alexa makes it even more convenient to adjust settings without having to mess with them manually. The lighting effects are nice, and the customization options make them great for adding a cool look to a space. My main downside is that they can get a little hot at times, which is not ideal for where I have them installed in my closet. It is not enough to make them unusable, but it is definitely something to keep in mind depending on where you plan to place them. Overall, I think they are a great smart lighting option if you want good app control, Alexa compatibility, and a lot of lighting functionality. They are easy to use and look great, but I would just be mindful about placement if heat could be an issue.

Literally the best lights I’ve ever tried. Very bright, fully customizable in the app, way more features then I’d ever need but still simple to use. Extremely high quality. Wasn’t expecting much but my expectations were exceeded.

These lights are amazing. I put them under my outdoor kitchen granite so it shines down on the walls. The brackets that hold their light in place adhesive attached to the granite without no problem. The app is so easy to use and there’s so many different colors that are already set up for you or you can design your own.
