RGBIC Neon Lights 9.8ft Works with Matter, Alexa, Google Assistant

I got the Govee RGBIC Neon Lights, and they have completely transformed my room. The colors are vibrant and the neon effect looks amazing on my walls, giving a fun and modern vibe that really stands out. Setup was quick and easy. Connecting the lights to the Govee app took just a few minutes, and I love that they work with Matter, Alexa, and other smart home systems. Controlling them with my voice or the app is seamless, and I can customize colors, brightness, and even create dynamic lighting effects. The build quality feels durable and flexible. I was able to shape the rope light to fit my design without worrying about damaging it. The adhesive backing also sticks well on walls and furniture, making installation straightforward. The only minor drawback is that for very long runs, you might need extra support to prevent sagging, but otherwise they perform perfectly. Overall, the Govee RGBIC Neon Lights are a fun and versatile way to light up any space. They are bright, easy to use, and bring a lot of personality to my room.

Wow, if you have been debating on purchasing these lights, stop thinking about it and just get them!!! I have wanted these lights for soooo long but just didn't want to spend the $90 for them, but now that I finally have them, I wish I got them so much sooner. I have purchased much cheaper versions of rope lights multiple times in the past and these literally do not even compare to the $30 ones. The range of colors are phenomenal and blows all of the cheaper versions out of the park, and the multi-color functions are actually stunning. The color settings are so fun to play around with, it's so hard to choose which one to keep on!! These are SO worth the price tag, they create such a beautiful ambiance and make the vibes of a space so much more vibey!! So far the adhesive clips have been staying quite well, I was prepared to drill the clips into the wall and had placed them on the wall with the adhesive backing just to get the shape and layout I wanted, but the adhesive backing has worked so well I haven't even needed to drill the mounting clips in! I did wipe the wall down with a Clorox wipe and paper towel before applying them so I'm sure the clean surface helped them stick. Also the Govee app works wonderfully, it's super easy to connect the lights to your phone. I would give these 10 stars if I could, I highly recommend!!

THE BEST. So much better than I expected! 1: the color is stunning. Way better than I could imagine. 2: super easy to put up! I was really worried when I saw all of these odd clips and screws but then I watched a video and realized how easy it was. Literally just stuck them to the wall and slid the tube in. I did it by myself in like 10 minutes. Super flexible too. 3: the app gives you so many options. You can draw the colors on each section with your finger through the app, add different scenes, and full scale color changes. Amazing! 4: not too bright at all! You can adjust it so it’s a chill cozy vibe or brighter but it never hurts your eyes. It’s diffused and you can choose the plain background color so it never feels like actual neon. 5: did I mention how pretty it was??? I’m getting another pack for my room just because it’s now a necessity!

Govee products are undefeated and have ruined other brands for me. Happily. I waited a while to write my review for this product, I had seen a few of their products have reviews about people complaining about them getting very very hot or even some of the melting or catching on fire. So I wanted to make sure I'd use these products long enough to make a valid review. I want to start by saying I've had these products now for over a month and I've used them for hours at a time I not only have the strip lights, I also have the neon rope, and the floor lamp. I've used them over and over again while also being mindful and I have not had a single issue. The app they have is phenomenal, it's super seamless and even connects to my Google so I can use Google to turn these lights on or off. Since I've purchased my first item with this company I have bought three other items. And I'm having a hard time not spending more money on more of their items. The adjustability, the versatility, and the appearance of all of these lights and everything that this company offers is 10 out of 10. I'm actually very happy but also upset that they ruined every other brand for me because I can't justify anything else. Thank you Govee for an amazing product worth spending my money on.

The Govee RGBIC Neon Lights are really solid if you want something that looks good and is easy to control. What I like most is the functionality and ease of use. They are simple to set up, work well with the Govee app, and connecting them with Alexa makes it even more convenient to adjust settings without having to mess with them manually. The lighting effects are nice, and the customization options make them great for adding a cool look to a space. My main downside is that they can get a little hot at times, which is not ideal for where I have them installed in my closet. It is not enough to make them unusable, but it is definitely something to keep in mind depending on where you plan to place them. Overall, I think they are a great smart lighting option if you want good app control, Alexa compatibility, and a lot of lighting functionality. They are easy to use and look great, but I would just be mindful about placement if heat could be an issue.

This rope exceeded my expectations by a long shot! I’m obsessed! Super easy to set up and the options are a lot of fun. The app is very user friendly! I started screwing it in my wall and then found that the adhesive on the back is super strong! I like that it gets really dim because it’s perfect as a night light. The video is with the brightness all the way up.

After opening the box it can be a bit overwhelming, there’s a lot of small pieces and I got a bit overwhelmed — but, if you go on YouTube and search “Govee neon lights” there’s a 30 second video that really simplified the process for me! I am autistic and struggle with written instructions, so it was a great visual. I got the largest size and it wraps around my desk perfectly. These lights are incredibly bright and have tons of different color combinations / themes. You can also customize them individually and pick the colors you’d like to see. My favorite feature is definitely the music sync, it can seem a little too sensitive at first but there is a sound sensitivity slider in the app! I have the music box right behind my Echo, and it responds well. For the entire part of squiggles I didn’t use any of the bending connectors. I used the shortest ones and just made sure to have them shaped in a way where curving would be natural for them. I didn’t have a shape planned and just went for it. The heart bit at the end was a bit more complicated but I ended up using the straight clips for that part as well. Also, the screws would likely come in handy but I am in an apartment! The curved ones just kept falling off the wall and I believe it was because of the tension. These lights are definitely something you’ll have to play with for a bit to get them exactly how you want them, but it is 100% worth it! They’re very durable and insanely nice in terms of quality. The best LED’s you could find IMO (in my opinion). They connect to the Govee Home app as well as my Echo Show. 100% would recommend, just have some patience and trust the process! These are super bright, so I’d recommend blackout curtains in front of your window to avoid giving everyone outside a light show as well, haha. Amazing lights!
