The description said batteries were included. They were not included in my order. I received two empty plastic cylinders that I think the batteries were supposed to come in. I mainly bought the flashlights for the black light. You have to click through three button cycles to reach the black light, which can be annoying. The black light itself is better than a black pen light; it has a wider light span. The white light aspects of the flashlight are okay, and I do like the spotlight setting. I ordered a set of two - one for myself and another as a gift. I didn't realize both would come packaged in one company box, not two separate boxes. If you order them as gifts, only one can be given in the manufacturing box, which will be half empty.

Very bright flashlights, have a nice weight and are very durable. Very easy to use just push the button. Blacklight is useful when looking for different things.
