Better than expected.
In checking other reviews I felt I was taking an unreasonable risk ordering this sea salt. I was expecting to begin with a clean-up routine in the shipping box but mine arrived in perfect condition. I do agree with other reviewers that for the home Chef/Baker the size and shape of the container is not very convenient. It's tall and if you lay it down, like anything else, it will vanish from view in the pantry. PRO TIP: If you're replacing salt that was in a clear/squat plastic container, DON'T throw that container away. Keep it, clean it and pour the La Baleine into it and voila, you're back in business. My next surprise shouldn't have been a surprise. The salt poured right out of the container...there was no caking but, I should have known. I live in the Arizona desert. If there was suddenly enough humidity here to cake a pound of salt I think U-Haul would sell out all its trailers. (your mileage may vary). Lastly, taste. How does it taste? I got nuttin'. It supposed to taste like salt and, well, it tastes like salt. VICTORY! Recommended. Enjoy!
