This is a super camera! I ordered it and received it the same day! Great service Amazon! I charged the battery, down loaded the App, and set up the WIFI on my IPhone 7+ and did a few quick checks! Clarity was flawless as well as the other features mentioned by the manufacturer! The Amazon information states it has to be used by a IPhone 6 and up. When I opened the box and read all the information (as advised) it stated to record videos you had to have a IOS of 8 or greater! All my joy turned into (not as advertised) but I tried it anyway, and it did record videos on my 7+! Joyful again! Tomorrow I will began exploring some very much needed areas around our home which we had built almost 29 years ago! Like the HVAC trunk lines and the chimney which used to be a wood burning fire place now natural gas! I hope to up date my review! I gave the durability and battery life a 5 also, even though I have not tested those two but except they to will get a 5!!Update 2/2/2019Wow this camera is amazing, and some of the photos posted by customers has helped a lot! This company in the customer service department is amazing too, I emailed Sharon a couple of times and she was beyond amazing with her assistance! I ran my Home Improvement business for 12+ years until I was diagnosed with Stage IV Melanoma cancer, a cancer with no cure but JESUS CHRIST! Needless to say I had to shut it down. So many times I needed a camera of this quality and features to do countless jobs! It would have been a major piece of equipment to have even in the home inspection area! I will be happy now to continue its use for numerous home repairs and checks in those hard to get to areas! GOD bless this company and you that read this review!!

I used this for exactly 5 minutes when I first received it just to check it out. It sat idle for several weeks but when I tried to use it again it would not work at all. The power light came on, the bluetooth LED lit, but it would NOT broadcast SSID which is required to connect to it. I tried everything to get it to work; put it on the charger overnight, pushed the reset button (which by the way does absolutely nothing). I waited too long to send it back but I contacted the seller for a resolution as it supposedly has a one year warranty. So far, no response. I will update this if I hear anything or get it replaced.Update: August 12th, 2019. Seller sent me a 2nd unit which I recived in about 2 weeks. It worked properly when I received it. I used it a few times, mostly just to see if it would even work. While it was working, the image quality was very poor and the focal range of the lens was extremely short; images were in focus within about a 1 cm range, everthing out was too out of focus to be usable. Anway, I put it aside and did not try to use it again for several months...until I really needed it. So after severl months, I charged it up (was mostly charged alreadly from what I could tell) and tried to pair it to my phone..just like the first one, it would no longer broadcast the SSID..I tried everythign possible, to no avail. In the trash it went. Though this item was not really expensive, I still did not want to flush $50.00 down the drain for an item that worked all of 10 minutes (between BOTH of them), but there was nothing else I could do since it was out of warranty. Good luck to anyone else that purchased or purchases one of these!

It works as claimed and was fairly user friendly to set up on an iPhone. When it is extended far enough it is probably better to attach it to some sort of fish tape to keep it feeding through tight spaces. If you tape it two or three inches back from the fish tape head or probe you can clearly see what the obstruction is when the fish tape reaches it. As long as the water is fairly clear in the pipe the picture is pretty good although figuring out what you are looking at can be a challenge unless you have looked in a lot of old pipes. No problems going under water in the pipes. The light is very effective and bright. Bought one for my son and recommended it to my brother-in-law. Next project is into the walls of the motor home. I am very pleased with it.

I purchased this to try to see if I had a bad heater core on a truck I own, trying to keep from having to remove the dash and drop the steering wheel if possible.I ran this through the top register by the windshield and ran it through to the heater box with minimal problems. What was nice was the ability to rotate the view 90 Degrees to see properly.I was able to see the heater core and yes, I did have to do the removal of everything to get to it but I wanted to make sure the core was bad instead of having a small connection leak from the engine to the firewall.I've used this also for going into walls from the top plate to locate any internal items, wiring, piping etc.. and it worked out fine.Well worth the small investment cost!!

Camera has dicent capacity to view objects around it, specifically from 3 ft distance a cone with 7 ft diameter base circle is observed. It is distorted but resolution permits to observe boundaries of light and dark spots. I did not make my goal to test capacity of this system but combination of price, ease of its app, and semi-rigid cable makes it a useful tool for my applications - check condition of ceiling joists above sheet rock/plaster, preliminary assessment of integrity of chimney surfaces, viewing facades from roof outside. I am not sure about plumbing applications. There are several attachments, one is a hook that may protect the camera, but the attachments seems rather flimsy, not designed for pushing against the bends. Would buy another one with a 100 ft long cable to explore longer distances. But this borescope is good as it is.

The light isn't as bright as I'd like, even with the adjustment. Setup was easy. The old USB charging port is like 20 yrs old so charging is slow.
