Delicious and a generous portion. The plastic coating is thing so beware not to eat it! it comes off really easily if you just use one of the corners to find the edge.

I usually love fruit leathers, but this comes as a sheet, and it tastes awful. I cannot describe the bad taste except to say I will not be trying this again.

I know it takes a lot of fresh fruit to make fruit leather... but this package is just too small. I hate rationing it.

TAKAM Lavashak mixed fruit leather is a guilt free snack that is both enjoyable and healthy. Made of apple, pomegranate, plum, apricot, and sour cherry purées, as well as salt and citric acid, it has only 50 calories per 28g serving. There are about 7 servings in each package. The product is packed and distributed in the US. My package has a best by date about 1 year from the date of order. This Persian style fruit leather is not for everyone. It has no added sugars so is quite tart with a salty aftertaste. I’ve never had a Persian style fruit leather and have discovered I really like it. The mix of tart, natural sweetness, and saltiness won’t be for everyone but if you enjoy unsweetened fruit leather I think you’ll like this one. The leather is packed in a resealable package and contains 2 sheets and one small rectangle of fruit leather. Each sheet is covered front and back with a clear plastic film that is fairly easy to remove. The film keeps the fruit from sticking together. Because of the natural sugars contained in the fruit leather, it is sticky. I found it easiest to cut a piece off with the film still applied and then unwrap the film as the piece is being consumed. The fruit leather was priced at $11.98 at the time I ordered it, which is slightly more expensive than similar packaged fruit leathers. If you like all natural, unsweetened snacks with no preservatives other than citric acid, you’ll consider the cost reasonable. I find it to be a simple but delicious snack.
