When I recieved this Shield in the Mail today, I was overwhelmed by the size of the package and thought the item had excess packaging. But once I opened it, I was totally impressed by the size of the shield, the texture and the handling it. The size of the shield is big enough to cover chest and mid-area of your body. The forearm strap is an added bonus that helps you hold up the shield without having to grip the handle and the grip/straps allow for great hanlding the shield and isnt cheaply made, so there isnt worry that the handle or straps will brake or tear off the shield. The shield itself has great detail like seen in the movie and isnt made of cheap plastic, it actually fills almost metal like. But be aware, the shield isnt light, so its not meant for kids to carry or anyone who doesnt have Spartan like Strength, it can get heavy after carrying it for a few hours at a Halloween Party or This shield is even good enough for display alone for collectors. Online buying can be tricky with decieving photos, but the photo, does not give this shield justice and the price is well worth the quality of this shield..... FOR SPARTA!

After a long and tedious search of the 'net for replica shields, and the vast majority running into the several hundreds of dollars, I found this replica for only $50.My first thought was "You get what you pay for" and fully expected this to be a cheaply made, plastic knock-off. But I needed it for my costume, so I took a chance.I'm so glad that I did!The pictures really don't do it justice! (Guys, you should have a picture of someone holding the shield so it give relevance to the size of it, just a thought.)Although this is about half the size of the massive 1:1 3-footer shield of the movie, it is still of a significant scale.The detail is amazing and it is SOLID. It has a very sturdy forearm strap and handle combo in the back.I am eagerly looking forward to any other replica items these people produce.I strongly recommend them.And the shipping was done in a reasonable amount of time and in a very protective box!

Great shield, can't get much better than this. Pretty much right out of the movie, lots of compliments. Very high quality, would probably work as a real shield in an attack. Perfect finish for that 300 costume

Item was lost by FedEx in Memphis then when it showed up. A piece of the edge was broken off, very disappointed in this experience.
