a fine, authentic lookin' pirate flag, made here in America!
The burlap texture is prominent, and there are indeed two separate sides, sewn together, that have the very "authentic" looking skull and crossbones motif! Many "pirate" flags look rather silly or cartoonish, more suited for children or landlubbers who don't know what a real pirate flag should look like. This one has a realistic feel and look to it, and best of all, it's actually made in the USA! There is a sleeve to have it go over a typical mailbox-attached "garden" flagpole, instead of separate grommets to attach to a lanyard on a free standing pole. If you want to fly this, you'll need a garden pole, or you could certainly punch two grommets into the end and attach with clips ( a fun DIY project!). If you are looking for something that gives a look and feel of being hand stitched on burlap cloth, and for the price, I think it's worth buying!!
