This part is essential for the use of the food processor
I assume this aftermarket part is made to work with several models, as although it has some lock-in tabs (to lock it in place in the larger "push" piston), the lock-in tabs are too short to fit my model. Thats ok though - it works!I will be careful to not lose it.

Fits DLC-10
For unknown reasons, the original pusher for my Japanese-built DLC-10 "Classic" had turned yellowish and had swelled-up, so that its fit in the clear tube was very tight - took a hammer to remove it. This replacement fits perfectly; loose enough to turn-to-lock the tabs, and when un-locked it remove easily, but not so loose as to have a big gap around it. Further, it is NOT higher than the clear-plastic, thus will slide easily under cabinet if the vertical clearance is tight. Must be OEM supply, not some approximate aftermarket copy. Well-pleased.

Fits a 33 year old Cuisinart
Fit my 33 year old Cuisinart food processor but it would not lock into place. My old pusher was lost and I remember it locking into place. And the original color was a smoky clear while the replacement is white - not a big deal. It does the job if I hold down the pusher.

Works, what more do you want?
Bought a brand new Cuisinart before Christmas and when I got around to opening it, found that the white pusher had been jammed into the lid tube backward and could not be dislodged without possibly cracking the lid. So, ordered a completely new lid and pusher, came in a few days (love Amazon for this) and grated cheese with the whole thing, worked really well, and hopefully everything will last me another 25 years as my last Cuisinart food processor did (it was still working but the cord was beginning to crack and come loose from the unit, probably could have gotten it repaired but wasn't worth the cost so I bought a new one). Now I wish I had one of those kitchens that would store gizmos (like recessing secret shelves or gizmo garages).

Too long
As I used this to push cheese through the grater, I learned that it's too long. I accidentally grated part of the pusher!

Cuisinart small pusher
Definitely not like the real cuisinart pusher that I lost when loaned my food processor to a friend and it went missing. This one actually started getting pieces scrapped off while shredding cabbage. Very disappointing.
