I purchased 50 ft of 1.5" line. Used 30 ft on the finger pier to replace old, rotten manila. Used the remainder for decorative purposes at our mailbox. The line was easy to cut with a box cutter. The tape on the ends needed to be replaced, and I used a propane torch to better melt/fuse the end of the line. A very attractive line, and I expect it will hold up well.

Very easy to use, extremely sturdy.. I look forward to years of usage! Turned out great on my DIY oversized swing!

We needed a rope for a play for some sailors to use to haul a "ship" in to the pier. This rope looks exactly like hemp (which was period appropriate) but is much easier on the actors hands --- no sharp or rough fibers! I can't speak to whether it would work well to haul in an actual ship, but for our purposes, or for decoration, it is exquisite!

Have only installed this product today. It said to wrap with duct tape where rope would be cut and to use sharp branch cutters to splice it, but I found a saw worked a lot better for the pro Manila rope...perhaps because it is plastic? Was really tough to cut!! However, I used wrought iron cups in which the rope end was inserted and then screwed through the rope to keep it in the cup. It looks fantastic and seem to be really securely put. I wanted a more formal look. It’s perfect! So far so good!!

Excellent product and it worked great for the Day bed swing I built for my wife..

I am using this outside as I'm building a small mini golf course. This will have to and will be able to withstand the elements - which I appreciate. I will definitely be back to buy more.

I had a deck made and was debating what to add to the front. A small fence or rope? Since I am at the beach, rope seemed like the obvious choice. I always read reviews and decided on this width and rope. I am so glad I did!! With our heat and rains in Florida, I didn't want it to rot easily with a natural material or get moldy quickly. I think it looks great. It was easy to work with and my handyman had no issues cutting it. I put lights on top of the post and wrapped the rope around for a nautical look. So many compliments!

Durable yet looks awesome Twisted pro manila rope is the route to take. Fence application is where it was used so it needs to last through all season weathering
