Fantastic product for the price. Exceptional build quality and long battery life. I have been using this wireless microphone in a church setting at least once a week for the past 2 months mounted on my music stand to amplify my acoustic mandolin. Sound quality is great in that environment. Pros: Build quality, battery life, volume and sound quality, USB-C charging ports, battery level on transmitter, no interference, easy to read display. The microphone cable connection to the transmitter is perfect! Microphone is incredibly sensitive and picks up sound very well. (I only tested the clip-on mic and not the headset mic.) Cons: Power button, mute, and channel buttons are too close together. Too easy to power off the unit or change channel when trying to mute the microphone. (I think the channel button should be on the bottom and small because channels are not something I change on a regular basis. The power button should be on the top, and only the mute button on the side.) Receiver should have a better indicator for battery charge level. There is no volume control but this is not that important as I control volume on the mixer panel. That said, making a small quick adjustment on the transmitter is not possible. Bottom line: Great portable microphone if remote volume control is not needed and one is careful about the buttons being pressed. Great purchase.

Hey everyone. It’s that time again. Review time. I recently received the PDP-1-1B Digital UHF Single Wireless Microphone System. Best feature is the price. Priced under $60 this unit is affordable for anyone needing a handsfree Mic Unit. This unit came very well packaged with everything easy to get to and set up. It comes with a 1/4 inch plug in receiver, body pack and 2 microphone choices, headset and lapel. These units are very well made of metal and a good weight. The beauty of this unit is, it is rechargeable, no need to keep buying batteries with this unit. Once plates in its very easy yo get your channel set on the unit and start using. It has a very good sound quality with both microphone choices, I prefer the headset as it has less wind noise or extra sound coming from bumping it or clothes brushing it. The headset set could be using for singing where your hands need to be free such as drummers, piano players, or basically any instrumentalist, dancers such as in musicals, or the actors in plays. So in other words it is very versatile. I would highly recommend this unit especially for DJ’s needing something for weddings, traveling preachers wanting their own headset mic, churches with limit space in the sound room, schools needing headset mics for speakers in large groups settings. And of course any theatre where ease of set of for performers is needed. Only negative is the booklet in the Bo’s with instructions and information is very small and extremely hard to read. Overall rating of a 8.5 out of 10.

I loved this microphone system! The setup was super simple, and everything worked right out of the box. The sound quality is excellent — clear, consistent, and professional. I’ve used it for karaoke nights and small events, and it hasn’t let me down. I also appreciated the 15 available UHF channels — no interference issues at all, even when using it in busy environments like churches or event halls. The included headset and lapel mic give you flexibility depending on your needs. Both are comfortable and deliver solid audio performance. Overall, this system is an amazing value for the price. Product arrived as promised. Easy setup and use. Bought for weekly church services to be streamed. Sound is excellent. Transmitter is approximately 60 feet from mic. Absolutely no issues.

I was excited to get my hands on the Phenyx Pro PDP-1-1B single wireless microphone system, as I am an owner of several of their higher end products, and was curious how such an affordable mic system would sound. Design: The first thing I noticed, right out of the box, was the hefty feel of the transmitter and receiver. Unlike body packs on their more expensive units, these felt much stronger and more like a metal design versus plastic. Sound Quality: While product build, durability, and strength is important. Sound is at center stage here. So let's dive in. The headset performs very well. Some basic eq’ing, to roll off low end rumble and high frequency feedback, is necessary. Distance was good, so was clarity, And, worked well through obstacles like walls. The lavalier microphone, while functional when positioned close to the mouth, was not very reliable if clipped in it's intended placement. The level was to low, and you couldn't bring up the gain without causing major feedback problems. Final Verdict: While not a fan of the lavalier, the headset microphone performance was quite substantial for around $50. Plus the plug and play functionality makes this very easy to use, without the need of an audio engineering degree. Possible suggested use applications...karaoke, church, business presentation.

good mic, good use so far......love that it charges and not have to take normal batteries
