Came with no instructions for remote. any help getting it to work would be great. my first one so i’m clueless how to set up. thanks in advance!

The key to getting the remote to work after pairing it with Bluetooth, is to make sure that the camera setting on your phone is set to take pictures using the volume control.

I have a samsung galaxy s10+. i can get the remote to work to take photos, but it does nothing to start the video. suggestions?

If you set the phone to video does the remote then work? I am thinking about buying this but would really like to be able to shoot video with the remote on my S10+? Thanks

The screw is on the tripod. It allows for you to add a camera or this mount

What are the two buttons for?

The larger top button is labeled IOS and triggers the shutter when the Apple Camera App is open. The smaller button is labeled Android and presumably used with Android phones. In my case with an Apple phone, both buttons triggered the Camera App shuttle. There is a slide switch on the side which enables bluetooth, so your phone should see a device called "AB Shutter3'; connect to this device, then this key FOB should trigger the Camera shutter. Keep in mind the Camera App must be running, or else, it just triggers the ringer setting.
