I came across this product when searching for a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver that has stereo balanced out. The only choices outside of this price came to be a Denon Professional unit that is very dated and full of complaints, a couple of small mono XLR male only units that are rechargeable, and extremely high cost "audiophile" geared devices. The fact is, this hits all the marks! It features unbalanced L+R RCA, coax, Toslink, and balanced L+R XLR outputs. The build quality is excellent and simple. The case is a satin black alloy with a composite front and rear panel. The XLR pins and antenna connector are gold plated. The oled screen is simple yet functional. I like that it is crisp, but not overly bright. It easily fits in with your gear while not being obtrusive. There is only one button on the entire unit, and it serves as a power button, un-pair device, and factory reset. NOTE: This receiver automatically powers on if USB voltage is supplied, thus allowing you to connect it to your receiver's switched outlet or your main power supply. Upon disassembly, I was delighted to see that this does indeed contain the ESS 9018K2M chip and the Qualcomm QCC5125! Too many false advertisements to not check nowadays. All solder joints look good with no slop. The included USB and Toslink cable are 3ft. and feel of good quality. The sound through this device is strong and clear with no perceived distortion. It is very quick to connect with no dropouts while in use. My final take on this is that is a no-brainer! A good DAC should not "color" sound as it is completely digital. Some may call me incorrect. Fine! Go sit at home and try to find the difference between your $1k unit and this one while sipping brandy by yourself. The rest should take advantage of this excellently built and priced device and keep all of the extra money in your pocket! Blafili B3 for the win!

The pairing of the B3’s clean digital transmission with the analog warmth of the Yaqin MC-13S creates something special: a listening experience that is articulate, immersive, and deeply satisfying. What strikes me most is the preservation of musical dynamics and spatial detail. Vocal performances are intimate and textured. Stringed instruments sing with body and resonance. Cymbals decay naturally into the air, and bass lines remain tight, never bloated. There’s a three-dimensionality that many wireless devices fail to preserve, but the B3 renders it beautifully, even through standard RCA. And this is where my imagination kicks in: if the RCA output is this good, what might the XLR outputs unlock? I envision an even wider soundstage, a lower noise floor, and a heightened sense of presence. The fact that the B3 offers balanced outputs at all is a clear nod to its professional-grade ambitions. From a technical standpoint, connectivity is now rock solid. With the antenna exposed and the unit positioned just a couple of feet from my streaming source, I’ve experienced no dropouts, no lag, and no instability. Setup was effortless - power on, pair, and play. I haven’t had to think about it since. As someone who values musicality over convenience, I never expected to say this, but: I dread going back to life before the BLAFILI B3. It has elevated my system in ways I didn’t think possible for a Bluetooth device. I now listen more often, for longer, and with greater attentiveness. It has made my carefully curated analog setup more flexible, without asking me to sacrifice fidelity. Final Thoughts: The BLAFILI B3 is a rare find: a Bluetooth receiver that meets audiophile standards. When paired with something as revealing and tonally rich as the Yaqin MC-13S, it becomes a conduit for true musical connection. If you’re looking to bring wireless convenience into a high-fidelity, analog-forward system, this is the receiver to get. Works as described! Easily connects to my Bluetooth devices and outputs great-sounding quality audio. I also appreciate how it powers up via a simple usb connection with no special or proprietary hardware. The XLR output is nice because I’m sending it to a mixer input. I do wish the XLR output offered a singular stereo send, but I also understand why it’s split to L and R. Regardless, this product does exactly what I need with no extra bells or whistles. Sometimes simplicity is key!
