Works for smaller idoo!
Seems like idoo no longer carries supplies for their smaller units. These worked!

Mostly fits aerogarden
They fit the width of the aerogarden, but not as tall so might have issues with getting hydration at lower water levels until roots grow long enough.

Quick to set up and use.
Super cool. I'm using the grow sponges pods and added the seeds and hydrated it with Hydroponics plant food. I'm not sure if this combination is a one size fits all for all seeds but I'm starting out with Sunflower seeds and veggies seed mixes. I think the seeds have a really good start! These hydrated quickly and were quick to set up.

Good starter kit
I tried it out for growing herbs indoors, and while it’s a decent starter kit, there are a few things that could be better. The grow sponges are easy to use and the kit does come with plenty of pods, so I had enough to experiment with different plants. However, it’s not as foolproof as I had hoped. For one, the instructions aren’t very clear, so you’ll have to figure things out on your own, especially if you’re new to hydroponics. It does come with everything you need to get started, but I found that it’s easy to lose track of the plants if you don’t have a system in place to monitor their growth. One thing that I really didn’t like was the lack of proper drainage in the pods. If you’re not careful, it can easily lead to waterlogging, which can kill your plants. I also struggled a bit with the size of the pods—they’re not quite big enough for some herbs, especially the ones that tend to grow fast and need more room. The material of the pods feels cheap, and I wonder how long they’ll last after multiple uses. That said, it’s not all bad—the sponges are actually pretty good at retaining moisture, and I’ve had a few of my plants sprout nicely after a few weeks. The hydroponic system is pretty basic but effective enough for small-scale indoor growing, and the pods do hold the plants in place well enough, but be careful with your water levels. The kit’s setup is okay for someone just starting out, but don’t expect it to be a top-of-the-line product. Also, the size of the pots limits what you can grow, so it’s best for herbs or smaller plants. It’s decent, but not perfect, and you might end up needing to buy extra components if you want to expand your garden.

Great Quality Net Pots and Grow Sponges, Flat Bottoms Can be Used in Seedling Grow Trays, Perfect!
The hydroponic baskets and soil sponges are excellent. I got these for a little hydroponic tower that I got and it didn't come with any baskets or sponges and these fit it perfectly. They have a flat bottom and not pointy like most of the hydroponic grow system refill kits. You can place these in a flat seedling tray with dome and allow your seedlings to get started before fitting them in your grow system. I like that sponges have the nutrients inside of them, so this great for starting seedlings and I don't have to worry with adding nutrients to the water right away. This is a great value for a 80 piece set of 40 net pots and 40 grow sponges. I would recommend highly and will be purchasing more once I get more hydroponic grow towers. Thank you!
