Astareal Astaxanthin - 60 Softgels, 60 Count

I have been taking this supplement relatively faithfully over the past 2-3 years, but moreso over the past year. I took it after reading Dr. Perricone's book, Forever Young, but never had high expectations. After taking it for months, I started noticing that my skin looked better with a decrease in fine lines. It also looked a little firmer. I also believe it has somewhat boosted my overall immunity as I have been less prone to viruses since taking it. The latest discovery is that my vision seems slightly improved - specifically my "near" vision. I looked up the possibility of astaxanthin affecting vision, and apparently it does. Like anything, you have to take it religiously for a reasonable length of time to see and feel improvements. The noticeable results aren't drastic, but they are present.

I guess it was ok but really couldn't tell the difference. Sorry I can't recommend this product since I could not see any results,

I read about this product from Dr. Oz's show. I believe everyone knows that today it is imperative that we do take a form of antioxidant to help our bodies function at it's highest level.I feel good and have noticed a great change in my skin. Those small imperfections that were rather noticeable are no longer there.. believe it or not, Ripley.I advocate using this product and I will continue to do so.

astaxanthin is a great supplement

I really enjoy this product and am disappointed that it has been discontinued. It has been replaced by an "improved" version that seems to really only mean that an ingredient (tocotrienols) that supposedly warrants a significant price increase.
