It worked just great for me.
I bought this because I received as a gift an old Olympus OEM with one 50 mm prime lense and one 85 mm prime too. I wanted to be able to use both lenses in my Canon EOS, so I purchased this adapter. Since then, the 50mm has become my favorite lense. I basically got a functional pretty good lense for just a few bucks I paid for the adapter. This adaptaer fits just well, doesn't hurt my camera body or lense and allows me to get pretty good optics for a pretty low price. Off course, you need to know how to shoot in manual, since you don't have automatic with OEM lenses, but that works for me.

It DOES work but it DOESN'T click! PLEASE READ
Only one star is coming off of this review and that is because this adapter DOES NOT click when you mount it to the camera. Here's how I use this thing:First put the adapter onto the camera. NOT the lens. Once the adapter is on the camera, and it does NOT click but it DOES lock (just keep that in mind, it won't turn out backwards on you, you'll need to use the release button), then you can take the lens and put it on.You MUST rather forcefully push it until the lens locks in and just like the adapter on the camera it will not click. You have to push pretty hard but I didn't have to use force anywhere near strong enough to break anything. Once that happened my Sakar 28-200 didn't lock fully in, the release button isn't all the way out, BUT this is irrelevant as the lens is firmly mounted.I haven't noticed any issues whatsoever with it apart from the less than satisfactory physical confirmation that things are locked in. But it works and that's all that matters and it's also very cheap.

A fantastic way to put vintage lenses to good use
A few weeks ago as part of a larger purchase I ended up with 3 OM-1 variant film cameras, several compatible Olympus OM mount lenses and a Canon 10D DSLR. I was going to just resell it all on eBay, but a friend inspired me to put these items to use. While the 10D did come with a couple EF lenses, I was rather happy to learn about adapter rings like the one I'm reviewing today. They allowed me to dramatically expand the available lenses I have for my Canon DSLR at minimal expense by simply adapting the Olympus lenses.A 23 year old camera with 50 year old lenses is a satisfying pair that I never considered possible. There are no electronics in these rings, you have to more or less set up everything yourself. As for shooting with a "modern" camera and an old fully manual lens, put your camera into aperture priority mode. Set your ISO for the conditions. Focus at the widest f stop possible to let in the most light and then stop down if needed before taking the shot. I have newer cameras than the 10D, it just feels the most "right" using vintage lenses on my oldest DSLR.Okay, all that is glowing. There is one downside. I've had three of these come through my hands now, two of them are good and one of them was machined too loosely. To be specific, the ring secures to the camera just fine, but the lens interface to the ring is too loose. I'll be sending that one back. So, you may want to buy two or three of these and send back any that don't work. But, when they are good, they are perfect. Five stars.

Very effective, well built, and simple adapter
I use this some older olympus lenses on my 6D, 80D, and with my other existing adapters like ef to efm or ef to fujix I even use this on my other cameras too! It's solid metal and high quality.

Works as intended, but difficult to remove.
The product functions as advertised, but is incredibly difficult to remove and may potentially damage the camera if done incorrectly.

OM to EOS EF Adapter, Brass
This is a great fit. It works good with my Sigma OM, and 49mm OM lense. It has a slight mismatch with my doubler adapter, yet works good with some patient work. Comes off with ease as well. Good product and my lenses are both from 1983. Cheers.

Simple & effective lens adapter
Bought this to adapt an old 80-200mm Olympus lens to fit on a Canon T6i. Overall, it's solid & does the job. Can't rate auto-focus because I never use auto-focus.
