![Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse [Blu-ray] [2015] [Region Free]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/912NuGfNvCL.jpg)

A hilarious and outrageous story of three geeky scouts and one hot sassy cocktail waitress, who discover the true meaning of unlikely friendships when they attempt to save their town from a zombie outbreak.

Best start to a movie!!!
It's funny and scary from the get go. Paying homage to many great scary movies but still retaining its own witty, gross and downright nasty individual style. Having watched this movie many times I'm still finding new nuggets that I missed. Yes this movie gets very silly but manages to keep you invested and caring about the main characters. When will there be a sequel??????

Hilarious from start to finish
I wasn't sure how good (or bad) this movie would be. It is actually very good and extremely funny. Two regular scouts decide they want to quit to give themselves a chance with girls, much to the dismay of the other nerdy scout who has made scouting his life. Then the zombie apocalypse comes along and they join forces with a hard as nails cocktail waitress (complete with shot-gun) and are forced to mount a rescue mission to rescue their school buddies. It is funny from start to finish, with some more serious bits, and a lot of incongruous and hilarious scenes along the way. I really like this movie.

Superbad meets Zombieland! (no spoilers)
This film is great fun although I can also see why others may not agree. It is a coming of age story of friendship, betrayal, lust, and discovery with a town full of Zombies thrown in for good measure. There are gore and violence which is to be expected but it is also very funny although I laughed more at some of the set-ups and one-liners than the actual punchlines. The young cast is all good supported by some sterling character actors and while they have their roles they do also feel fleshed out a little as well. The opening part that explains the Zombie outbreak is particularly well shot and sets the film up nicely. This was much better than expected and raced on to its satisfying if, rather predictable conclusion but make sure you stay around for the "selfies" at the end.

About time...long overdue flesh eating fans pleaser
An instant cult classic up there with The Lost Boys, 976 Evil, Monster Squad and other great comedy/horror zombie, creature features. Outstanding acting, vision and complete entertainment at the very best. Could easily be part of the Return of the living dead franchise...the good ones...and the night of the living spin-offs. Plenty of gore and exploding body parts. A film worthy to be included into and alongside any zombie buffs ultimate collection. So many positives to add about this film that it is simply easier to tell others to just watch without fear of being letdown. Everyone involved should take a bow and enjoy the applause...any chance of an encore please...and beware the booby trap if you are easily offended or humourless!

Passable zombi humour movie
This had a lot of promise and for me didnt quite hit the mark, it could have been something great like Night of The Creeps (or even its less imitators like Slither) but instead its a mix of zombi cliches and A LOT of adolescent US high schoolers humour, much more sniggers than laughing out loud. As a result while I could watch it I dont think I'm essentially in the film's target demographic, maybe the more ridiculous or gross out humour like the zombis on a trampoline or oral sex jokes and a zombi getting their penis ripped off and thrown about would've gotten greater laughs if I was younger (or less mature, undecided on whether that's the case or not). There's a little bit of rights of passage content here, the not so cool and nerdy or geeky kids prevail against the school and community jerks and morons, and some of the zombi gags display pastiche awareness of the original subject matter too which was pretty cool. I liked the group politics and stuff about friendship, the guys who were quick to abandon their friends finding themselves in similar predicaments with a kind of "Ha! Shoes on the other foot now" idea, but I also like the fact that its not a point that's belaboured too much, messages and teachable moments have their place, even in what's obviously lighter entertainment or amusement fare.Recommended, though I wouldnt expect this to linger too long in the memory either, not really a classic like the Night of The Creeps.
