Needs must when the devil drives.
Nice /looking/ sink with it's brush finished bowl and shiny drainer (Note:the description has these finishes reversed!)However, be aware that the "0.6 gauge" stainless steel, is actually 0.6mm and one of the thinnest around; and with the only deadening material being a scant 100mm square stuck on the bottom of the bowl, everything flexes and drums.(The addition of a many strips of bitumen-back zinc flashing (used for roofing) ironed onto the sides and base of the bowl and under the drainer went a long way to making the thing feel and sound a lot more solid. )Also be aware that the "free waste kit" (if and when it eventually arrives) is a European spec fitting and will not mate with a UK standard 1.5"(40mm) p-trap thread. You'll need to buy an adapter: "McAlpine Kitchen Sink Waste Thread Adaptor Euro to UK T12A-F - 39004016"(Searching for T12A-F will find many online suppliers though I failed to find one on Amazon.)Beware the advise for a "push-fit p-trap"; if you find one, it'll only move the adapter problem to the other side of the p-trap and cost a lot more.(See pics for what the adapter looks like and the bit of the waste kit you throw away.)
