Nice Tablet
Heavy Duty tablet. Seems to be good quality. Not sure if the manufacturer ever provides firmware or Android version updates yet.

Very Rugged! Android Software Works Well! Quite Heavy!
The build and construction of this device feels like a well-built and rugged device which could withstand a beating and will survive. Seemingly very sturdy and almost indestructible, the product is great from a durability point-of-view (albeit heavy). The software experience of this tablet functions pretty well and doesn't have any immediately obvious flaws. However, other tablets have felt a bit more snappy when using and the software experience on this device could be polished in order to take it up a notch. I don't have any specific complaints about the software, as it works in all the ways I want it to, but there is something which i can't quite pinpoint which just falls a little short for me when using the device. This is a solid overall device but for a tablet, which by default is meant to be a "mobile" device, it certainly has some heft. That combined with the software being solid but not outstanding, makes this device good but hard to "recommend" to a friend unless they are specifically looking for a super rugged android tablet, in which case this probably would be a good pick.

Can't call or receive calls. No Android updates.
I've had mine for ten months now. My only real complaint is that I can't make calls or send/receive texts. Going to carrier (Inland Cellular) next week to see if it's a SIM card issue. Other than that,HOTWAV, this thing is now 2, going on 3, Android updates behind the power curve. Are we ever going to see an update?I'll update this after I find out if the calling issue is the tablet or the SIM/carrier.

Hotwav Has a Hot Product; Plus a Seamless Transition of Your Data From Another Device
Let me first say that this tablet has an incredible battery life. Really amazing! The tablet came 75% charged out of the box and I still have not had to charge it with probably average to above average usage. In my opinion this device has two outstanding qualities: 1) Excellent Battery Life; and 2) The Ruggedization Features, which do make it heavier than most other tablets...but not to the point it was an annoyance to me. I would also rate all of its other features as above average based on using it over the past two and a half weeks. The ruggedization features are outstanding making this a great device to use for everyone, but especially for children and those occasions when you need to use the tablet outdoors or for offline purposes. As I said in my headline it was very easy to transition your existing data from another device to this tablet. Simply plug the provided charging cable into your new tablet and the other end into your existing device that you'll use to transfer the data. The provided cable had a USB-C connection on both ends and I was using my iPhone 12 to transfer the data. Fortunately I already had a Lightening to USB-C adapter that you must have to accomplish the data transfer using older model iPhones. It's easy to buy one of these adapters on Amazon if you don't already have one. Anyway, once both devices are connected just follow the on-screen prompts from the tablet to complete this task. After populating my tablet with the apps I wanted from the Google Play store I did some exploring to see how the tablet worked. I was very pleased to see that it was quite responsive and fast no matter what app I was using. One thing I didn't care for so much was that the power button is on the bottom when in portrait mode, but then again it's on the side in horizontal mode. But I get that you have to put it somewhere and you won't satisfy everyone. The screen resolution could be better but I knew when I bought it that the product specified a resolution of 800 (RGB) X 1280 pixels. So you basically get what you pay for. If you want a higher screen resolution then you'll pay more money buying another model with that characteristic. I've already watched a few Netflix shows and found the HD screen picture to be more than satisfactory, perhaps because the tablet supports Widevine L1 allowing you to stream content in high resolution with higher definition and a more cinema like experience. The sound quality is satisfactory, but of course it could be better...perhaps with a little more base. The easy way around that is to connect a decent bluetooth speaker to your tablet for use while you watch a movie or listen to music, which is what I did.I'm also impressed with the large memory consisting of 12GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM.You also get a hand strap that can be attached via velcro using the two metal handles that can be screwed into each end of the tablet. It provides nice support for the weight of the tablet, but the velcro will pull apart at times...so be careful of that. This is the first Android product I have ever used as I currently have an iPhone, iPad and a Mac. I am pleasantly surprised by the Android 13 Operating System and how well it seems to work. I also have a Lenovo Chromebook so I am already familiar with the Google Play Store for which its apps can be used on the Chromebook.Overall I think this is a five star product. It has a few flaws and is not perfect but nothing really is for that matter. In short you get a lot for your money.

Ok, but the strap is useless.
Initial thoughts, it's ok, but the strap is useless because the Velcro doesn't hold so the strap comes loose causing it to fall out of your hand. The layout of the buttons and charging port and unusual. The charging port is on the top (same end which has the camera), and the power/volume buttons are on the bottom.
